From online tickets to timetables and route maps, we have a vast amount of resources to help you get around as easily as possible. First Bus operate a number of bus services running regularly throughout Glasgow and the surrounding area, meaning there is always a bus ready to take you where you need to go.
We have innovated with our award-winning First Bus App, which allows passengers to plan ahead for their journey, predict when the bus will be quietest to travel on, track their bus to the bus stop and even buy their tickets in advance.
Glasgow Airport Express
The Glasgow Airport Express operates 24 hours a day. You can board the service at stand 1 outside Glasgow Airport, stand 46 at Buchanan Bus Station, or at the designated stops in the city centre. Enjoy the journey!

To allow for resurfacing works on Sunday 16th October between 08:30hrs until 18:00hrs Hamilton Road Bothwell will be closed.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
Bankhead Road
To allow for gas works on Monday 17th October until Friday 21St October 18:00hrs Bankhead Road will close.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 7A towards Rutherglen/City Centre
Carmunnock Road.
To allow for resurfacing works on Monday 17th October Carmunnock Road northbound will close.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 5 towards Osborne Street
Phoenix Road
To allow for works on Monday 17th October until Sunday 7th April 2024 Phoenix Road east will close.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
New Street, Paisley.
To allow for works On Monday 17th October until Friday 21st October New Street will be closed.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 9 towards Paisley
Alexandria Main Street
To allow for works on Saturday 15th/22nd/29th October All day and Sunday 16th/23rd/30th October between 00:01hrs until 19:00hrs Alexandria Main Street will close.
The works have been completed ahead of schedule so this weekend closure will be cancelled.
Carmunnock Road.
To allow for resurfacing works on Friday 14th October from 07:30hrs until Sunday 16th October Carmunnock Road Southbound including Croftfoot Road will close.
