Service 45 will continue to divert from Woodward Drive onto Shellards Road (part) into California Road and the service 17 will stay on Bath Road to use Marsham Way in Both Directions.

The iconic bus route offers passengers unparalleled views of the stunning Exmoor National Park and the picturesque coastal towns of Minehead, Lynmouth, and Ilfracombe.

Through funding contributions from Devon County Council and Somerset Council’s Bus Service Improvement Plans, the service will begin on Sunday 25 May 2025. The service will operate at different service levels during low and high seasons to accommodate varying demand.​

A road traffic collision at Westfield Road is impacting X3 services. Diversion details below

Diversion to Cumbernauld: from Mollins Rd, take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto Deerdykes Rd, right into Westfield Rd, normal route.

Diversion to City: Westfield Rd, left into Deerdykes Rd, 1st exit at roundabout onto Mollins Rd, normal route.

From mini roundabout, Morrisons bare left (the way normal you go to town), then right Helme Lane, then right Broadlands, and turn around to make return journey.

Osmondthorpe Lane Bridge closed 24/7 from 7th April to 11th April.
