HS4 & HS5 (High Street) bus stops have been closed by unannounced works.

Services to instead serve stop HS2 (next to the banks).

Halifax Road/Southey Green Road clear and services back to normal

8, 8a & 97 Services - Until further notice

Halifax Road / Southey Green Road bus stop has been closed by unannounced Northern Powergrid works.

The roads are now clear and services are running normal route

Allerton Road near Chapel Lane (above Lady Hill Park) - The road is blocked off to traffic, services 616, 617, 618, 619 are diverting

All, currently 26 buses are stuck in Cowcaddens/top of the City Centre. This is due to the M8 traffic causing issues. 

We are currently not able to divert due to being stuck. 

A section of Epping Road (A414), Chipping Ongar is closed for overnight works from Monday 4th August to Saturday 16th August 2025.

The road will be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and will re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure - the last journeys of the 19A service to Chelmsford will be placed on diversion:

Due to a tree falling on Peterhill Road, services to Auchinairn and Balornock are diverting:

Diverting via Springburn Road, Atlas Road, Wellfield Street, Edgefauld Road, normal route.

A Rail Replacement Coach has broken down across both lanes, blocking Stoke Rd.

The services are diverting via Hanley Litchfield St & Leek Rd in both directions.

No service on Stoke Road at the moment.

Central Road will be closed August 26 - 29th, 09:30 - 14:30.

22 services are diverting via Old Manor Way, Lower Drayton Lane, the normal route.

The following stops will not be served:

Station Road and Central Road during the closure.

Services are withdrawn from Hartland Avenue (Belfry) due to a low-hanging tree causing damage to our vehicles & risk to our passengers.

Services diverted directly along Owlthorpe Greenway in both directions.

Services are withdrawn from Barnsley Road (between Hucklow Road & Longley College) due to a low hanging tree causing damage to our vehicles & risk to our passengers.

Services are diverting via Barnsley Road, Hucklow Road & Firth Park roundabout in both directions.
