On Sunday 8 January 2023 there will be a 10K road race around the Stubbington Village area. Service X5 will be delayed or diverted around this area between 0830 and 1400. Please note the times are flexible and the roads will open as soon as the event is finished. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during this event.

Byron Road between Shelley Road and Selworthy Road will be closed to service 3 from 07:00 on Wednesday 11th and will remain fully closed until 19:00 (estimated) on Thursday 12th January to facilitate carriageway works.

Services will not be able to serve the Selworthy bus stop on Byron Road in either direction and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Yeo Close bus stop on St Ives Road or the Chaucer Road bus stop on Byron Road.

From Monday 16th January until Friday 20th January, Preston Road will be closed for Resurfacing Works.

On Friday the 06th of January between 0700 and 1800, Boden Street, Chard will be closed for National Grid Works.

Whirlies A725 on slip

To allow for works on Tuesday 10th January between 20:00hrs overnight until 06:00hrs The Whirlies A725 on slip will be closed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 201 towards Petersburn

Road works will be taking place over the next couple of weeks with bus stops closed and temporary stops provided. Windsor Castle Public House southbound stop will be closed between 0800 & 1800 on the 11th - 13th January. Ham Lane both stops will be closed 0930 & 1530 on the  18th - 21st January. These closures affect the E1 service only. Please signal clearly to your driver your intention to travel.
