Supertram services in the Herdings area are still non operational.

We are therefore accepting tram tickets between City / Herdings / Gleadless Townend.

Services suffering delays over 40 mins heading to City. Due to Roadworks now set up on Kingston Street there are delays at Paisley Road Toll, Paisley Road West at Edmiston Drive, and City centre.

Due to an incident on the M8 motorway between junction 27 and 26 (eastbound) Service 500 is currently running behind schedule.

The Wicker is now clear, and the service is back to running its normal route

The Wicker is blocked one way by a broken down bus.

12.30 Thursday 19th March until 1800 Thursday 2nd April.

Due to road works, the above stop will be closed on the date shown.
Passengers are advised to use the temporary stop provided by the works contractors.

This closure will only affect the stop towards Gosport.

Tinker Lane is blocked by unannounced road works.

Services from/to Walkley Library are diverting via Forbes Road, Hillsborough, to turn around.

The longest-serving driver with First Bus in York is finally stepping out from behind the steering wheel.

Ian McDonald, 70, is retiring after nearly 52 years with the company and its predecessors.

He joined the business when it was then West Yorkshire Roadcar in September 1974, long before deregulation of the bus industry in 1986.

Bradford Street, Braintree is closed for overnight roadworks from 25/03/2026 to 30/03/2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed nightly between 19:00hrs and 05:00hrs*

Due to the location of the roadworks - the 170 / 370 will be placed on diversion:

This road closure will only impact one 170 journey -> 20:15 from Braintree to Chelmsford.

Overnight closure to Stanningley Bypass for Bridge inspection works and a police reconstruction service X6 will have to divert from 19:00 until 06:00 in both directions.

Blackburn Meadows has been closed by unannounced roadworks.

INBOUND services diverted via Bawtry Road, M1 J34S roundabout, Sheffield Road, Vulcan Road & Meadowhall Way.

Due to a road closure on Blackburn Meadows we will divert as follows:

Sheffield Road, Tinsley Viaduct, Sheffield Road, Vulcan Road, Meadowhall Way picking up normal route at Meadowhall.
