Brent Road in Cossington is currently closed to service 75 until last bus on Wednesday 20th December to facilitate emergency carriageway works.

Service 75 will be diverted vis Manor Road, A39 and Woolavington Hill in both directions.

Regretfully the Park Close and Cossington bus stops will not be served and passengers are advised to board oar alight at either The Laurels bus stop on Middle Road or Knowle End bus stop on Old Mill Road.

First Essex delivers Christmas gifts to vulnerable children in Southend

Colleagues from bus operator First Essex, have donated over 200 gifts to Southend Council’s annual Christmas toy drive.

The toys, games and books, donated by First Essex employees at the Chelmsford depot, were delivered to Southend by First’s very own Santa and his team of elves in a classic 1960 Routemaster bus.

First Norwich colleagues donate Christmas gifts to local Children’s Charity

Colleagues from bus operator First Norwich, have donated Christmas gifts to local children’s charity, The Hamlet.

The toys, games and books, donated by First Norwich employees at the Vulcan Road and Roundtree Way depots and offices located in the City centre, were delivered to The Hamlet Children’s Centre located in Johnson Place in Norwich.

Services 80-80A-81-81A

Brook Street, Dedham will closed to traffic from Monday 11th December to Friday 15th December 2023.

Due to the location of the road closure, services 80-80A-81-81A will be placed on the following diversions:

80A towards Dedham will divert after B1029 via High Street/Shoebridge S Hill/Grove Hill/Ardleigh Rd/Dedham Rd,Harwich Rd, Coggeshall Rd and Long Rd West before returning to normal line of route at Lamb Corner.

First Essex colleagues donate Christmas gifts to local Children’s Hospice

Colleagues at bus operator First Essex’s Basildon Depot have donated Christmas gifts to those receiving care and support at Little Havens children’s hospice, located in Benfleet, Essex.

Holburn Street will be one way heading into town from the Hardgate Roundabout to Willowbank Road between the hours of 19:00 – 06:00 each night 10 to 12 January.

Services 1,1a,2 to Garthdee/Auchinyell Road
From Holburn Junction:
• right onto Great Western Road (neared bus stop)
• left onto Holburn Road

From Thursday the 14th to Friday the 15th of December, there will be a closure along Station Road, Ilminster between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00.

This will affect service 30.
