Temporary Bus Service Arrangements Due to Road Closure at Pontyberem

Passengers are advised that from Monday 20 July 2026, and for approximately six weeks, bus services in the Pontyberem area will be affected due to a road closure on the B4317 Capel Ifan Road, Pontyberem.

To help maintain public transport links during the closure, a temporary Service 195A, operated by First Bus will be introduced to provide connections in Pontiets with Services serving Maengwynne, Five Roads and Cynheidre

Service 60A Dumgoyne Avenue Castlemains

Duke Street, Chelmsford is closed for overnight roadworks from 15/07/2026 to 17/04/2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed nightly between 21:00hrs and 05:00hrs*

CHELMSFORD SERVICES will be placed on minor diversions and will not serve Duke Street, Tindal Street and New London Road.

The following bus stops will not be served:

• Chelmsford Cathedral
• H&M
• Job Centre

Colchester City Carnival and Fair returns on Saturday 18th March 2026.

Head Street & High Street, Colchester will be closed to traffic from 11:00 to 14:30hrs.

Due to roadworks currently taking place on the A120 between Braintree and Bradwell - to retain punctuality - all journeys, that normally terminate at Braintree Tesco East Store, will terminate at Braintree Interchange Bus Station until further notice.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Services 11 (E1, E2 and 9 late evenings). Temporary stop closure,
Alders Road, Gosport Road, Fareham
1900 Thursday 16th until Monday 20 July 2026 at 06:00

Due to road works, the above stop will be closed from the date shown.
Passengers are advised to use the temporary stop supplied by the works contractors.

Service 101 Crown Street, Stone

Crown Street in Stone has been closed. Service 101 are having to divert via the A34 inbound. Outbound trips are not affected.

Service 15 | Heights Drive 

Service 15 is diverting via Greenthorpe Road, Pudsey Road, Tong Road in both directions due to parked cars on Heights Drive. Diversion route below.

Service 2, 46, 60 & 60A Shettleston Road

Due to an incident, the diversion below will be followed.

Eastbound: Normal route to Shettleston Road at Fernan Street, into Old Shettleston Road, Shettleston Road, normal route.

Westbound: Normal route to Shettleston Road at Old Shettleston Road, into Old Shettleston Road, Fernan Street, Shettleston Road then normal route.
