Service 8 | London Road / Purbrook After Ladybridge Roundabout

College Green and Anchor Road(Towards City Centre),Bristol will be closed for two nights between 21.00-05.30 on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June. This will affect various services.
Services towards Clifton will run normal route to the City Centre then divert along Anchor Road and Jacobs Wells Road to resume normal route at The Triangle,Clifton
The following bus stops will not be able to be served :-College Green and Park Street Top.
Please use either Anchor Road(A1) or The Triangle stops instead.
Bristol Road,Wraxhall will be closed between 09.30-15.30 daily from Tuesday 16th June until Friday 26th June. This will affect service X9.
Service X9 towards Nailsea will follow normal route until Cambridge Batch bus stop where it will join the A370 and head back towards Bristol. They will go on to Clevedon Road, Tickenham Hill and The B3130 into Nailsea.
The following stop will not be able to be served :-Wraxhall Esso Garage-Kingcott Mill Farm stops incl.
Turner Road, Colchester is closed for overnight roadworks from 18/06/2026 to 19/06/2026.
*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed nightly between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs*
Due to the location of the road closure - the 51 / 52 / 68 will divert in both directions via Northern Approach Road and Mill Road.
The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:
Due to the Wheels Festival taking place, Marine Parade will be closed south of Britannia Pier on Saturday 20th June & Sunday 21st June.
Service 1C will operate as far as Britannia Pier during this time.

Due to traffic waiting to enter the tip on Blackstock Road, the service will be diverted

Due to temporary lights on Shieldhall Road/Hardgate Road causing delays on Hardgate Road, services to operate as follows:
Service 77 from Braehead towards QEUH. Normal route Kings Inch Drive at Renfrew Road roundabout take 1st Exit onto Renfrew Road, right onto Hospital Boulevard to Stance - Normal route.
Service 77 towards Braehead, Normal route to QEUH, Right Hospital Boulevard, Left Renfrew Road, Right (3rd exit) onto Kings inch Drive - Normal Route
Sheepway, Portishead will be closed from 25th June until further notice for carriageway works affecting service X4.
Services to Portishead will operate to The Portbury Hundred as normal but will not be able to turn into Sheepway but will continue to Sainsburys.
Services to Bristol will operate as normal to Sainsburys, then use The Portbury Hundred to Gordano.
Passengers needing Sheepway or Porbury Village should change at Sainsbury for the Bristol bound X4.
Emergency closure of Bank Corner (Lawton Road) in Alsager. Buses are diverting as follows:
To Crewe:
Normal route to Lawton crossroads, turn right, take the next left turning onto Sandbach Road, turn left onto Sandbach Road North (white fences opposite turn) follow all the way to the bottom of the road, at the crossroads turn right then normal route.
