Due to some major roadworks, Northern Road from Portsbridge Roundabout will be closed.​

Services will divert via Western Road, Southampton Road, turning into QA and back onto normal routes.​

8 | Mile End Road

During the closure, services will divert as follows:

Northbound via Lake Road, Fratton Rd and Kingston Road, Kingston Crescent to Rudmore, Twyford Avenue.​

3, X4, X5, X3 & 8 | Stanhope Road ​

13 Nov 20:00 until 14 Nov 04:30

During the closure, services will divert as follows: 

Southbound passengers towards the City Centre to alight at Victoria Park bus stop. 

​Northbound via Alfred Road, Anglesea Road, Winston Churchill Avenue, 1st exit at the roundabout, back to the normal route. 

209, 211 & 242​ | Jerviston Road

Due to emergency gas works on Thursday 8th October, Jerviston Road will be closed until the works are completed.​

During the closure, the following diversions will be in operation:​

2, 3, 7 & 8 | Cosham Interchange / Bus Lane​

Cosham Interchange / Bus Lane​ Southbound​ closed due to roadworks.

23-28 November​

Cosham Interchange will not be served. Services to follow the main road to Portsbridge Roundabout and continue in service.​

7 & 8 | Nightingale Road

During the times above, services will divert as follows: 

To Waterloville via Sevenoaks Road, Pasteur Road, Southampton Road, Cosham roundabout, 1st exit onto Northern Road back to the normal route.

To Portsmouth City via Cosham roundabout, 3rd exit onto Southampton Road, QA, Sevenoaks Road, Cavill Drive, to the normal route.

41 & 10 | West Regent Street

To allow for emergency Scottish Power works on Thursday 8th October at 14:30, West Regent Street will be closed between Renfield Street and West Nile Street until works are completed.​

During the closure, the following diversions will be in operation:​

The road located outside the terminal at London Southend Airport will be closed overnight from 22:00hrs on 09/10/2026 to 06:30hrs on 10/10/2026.

Due to the location of the road closure - the X30 will be unable to access the airport during this time.

The closest alternate bus stop to use is located on Eastwoodbury Crescent - Holiday Inn Southend Airport (this is an approximate 8 minute walk).

We apologise for the disruption to your bus journey.

The business, which is owned by First Bus and employs around 160 people, is working with Wetherby Training School through a government-funded scheme to support up to 50 people to train as professional drivers while employed by York Pullman.

18 & 18a Services - Until further notice

The junction of Meersbrook Road & Carfield Avenue is yet again blocked by badly parked cars.

Services are again to divert via Upper Albert Road in both directions.
