Overall Summary

Due to additional funding from Hampshire County Council, there will be increased Sunday frequencies on the E1/E2 and 5 routes. The 5 will also see evening trips added between Monday and Saturday. The 9A route will be cancelled, and their original trips will be served by the 9 instead.

The 54 is experiencing delays of up to 25 minutes due to heavy traffic on Magdalen Street, Colchester. This is due to roadworks undertaken by Cadent.

336 - The route is now clear. The 336 is now operating to normal line of route.

Southend Road, Chelmsford is closed for roadworks from 19/05/2026 to 28/06/2026.

Due to the location of the roadworks - the 3 will be placed on diversion:

Towards Chelmsford: Normal line of route. All bus stops served.

Towards Southend-on-Sea: The 3 will divert via Essex Yeomanry Way (A1114). The following bus stops will not be served:

388 Services Doncaster Road

Due to an RTC on Doncaster Road services are diverting down Broadway, Sheep Dip Lane resuming normal route at Hatfield Pub.

Due to a burst watermain on Woodseats road services to divert in both directions as Follows

Due to a broken-down car on the Roundabout at Gower Street Services to divert in both directions via Burngreave Road
