Our buses on services X1, X4, X6, X9 and U2 pass near to Ashton Court and allow travel to and from the Love Saves The Day festival from various destinations. However, there will be diversions affecting these services at certain times and on certain days, meaning they will stop further away than usual at certain times. Please check details below carefully for your service.

Due to roadworks at Terminus (Halton Moor), the service is terminating early: 

Due to a road traffic collision on Anchor Road that has caused two of our inbound buses from Newcastle to Hanley to become stuck, this will cause issues until this has cleared.

The A12 between Witham and Marks Tey is closed for overnight roadworks. The permit's end date is 20th May 2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed between 21:00hrs and 05:00hrs*

Due to the timing of the road closure - only three journeys will be impacted:

20:45 Chelmsford -> Colchester 22:04

The 71 will divert via the B1018 and A120. The following bus stops will not be served: 

Bishport Avenue (part) in Hartcliffe will be closed to services 36 and 75 between 8:00 and 20:00 (estimated) on Monday 1st of June to facilitate Bristol Water to repair a manhole cover.

Services 36 and 75 towards St. Annes and Hengrove will divert via Queens Road, Grange Road then onto Whitchurch Road and Hareclive Road to re-join the route at Bishport Avenue Lay-by.

Services now operating normal route

Due to a road traffic collision on the Lights, services to Woodhouse, we are unable to go across onto Castlebeck Avenue from Beaumont Road North Services.

The services are diverting via Harborough Avenue and Castlebeck Drive.

Services to the town are unaffected.

There is slow traffic in and around West Thurrock due to an obstruction on the A13. The 100 is terminating / recommencing journeys at Grays Bus Station until further notice.*Ensign Bus will accept First Bus tickets between Grays and Lakeside Bus Station*

Calcutta Road/Dock Road, Tilbury is closed for roadworks from 26/05/2026 to 29/06/2026.

Due to the location of the roadworks - the 200 will divert in both directions via Marshfoot Road (A126).

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Drayton - Fakenham Rd closure

Service 29 will operate normal route as far as The Silver Fox/small Tesco on Fakenham Rd then turn right onto Sandy Lane and left at the roundabout onto Taverham Rd.

Services 28/X29 will divert via Taverham Rd and Sandy Lane in both directions, hence the need for singles.
 

If the tree issue at Woodton hasn't been rectified by Fri night we will have to remain on the main Bungay Rd both ways on Sat

Alexandria Main Street is currently inaccessible to 204, 205 and 206 service which will divert around.
