Brightlingsea Fresh Air Festival returns on Saturday 15th August 2026. 

Victoria Place, Brightlingsea will be closed to traffic from 15:00hrs to 16:00hrs.

For the duration of the event - the 87 service will terminate journeys at Bellfield Avenue and will recommence return journeys at Colne School.

Due to utilities closing Osbaldwick Lane service 6 will have to divert via Tang Hall Lane, Hull Road to York University in both directions.

From Sunday 6 September 2026, revised timetables will be introduced on the X74 and M40 services.

The Monday to Saturday timetables have been updated to improve reliability and punctuality across both routes.

There are no changes to Sunday timetables and no changes to the routes served.

Please check the updated timetables before travelling:

Ashley Down Road, Bishopston will be closed from 09:30 Saturday 15th August until 17:00 Sunday 16th August. This will affect service 70.

Service towards City Centre, Temple Meads normal route to Ralph Road diverting via Gloucester Road to resume normal route after the Arches on Cheltenham Road.

The following bus stops will not able to be served: Kennington Avenue until Cromwell Road Arches.

Please use the stops at Muller Road Lidl's or Montpelier High School instead.

The Tenby Coaster has had to stop service due to a coolant issue, we hope to have the service running again soon.
