Wales Airshow is taking place in Swansea Bay this weekend with road closures from 12:00 on Friday. 

Friday 24th July│From 12:00

All services using Oystermouth Road Outbound will divert via Uplands and Sketty.

Services 1, 2, & 3a will not enter Singleton Hospital or University, however, will be required to service the Outbound stop on Sketty Lane heading to Mumbles

B1 Bridgwater town service - Kings Drive road closure

27th July - 4th September (All day closure)

We will be unable to serve any bus stops on Kings Drive due to the road being closed on the above dates.

The event will create two separate impacts on service between 16:00 on the 23rd of July and 09:00 on the 27th of July.

Service to divert as below

Outbound - Normal line of route to Orwell Road then continue along Orwell Road, Left onto Garrison Lane to resume normal line of route from the roundabout.

The Grove in Bristol City Centre will be closed on Thursday 23rd July between 2000-2300. This will affect services 16, 24, 43, 44, 45, 70, 74, 75, 76, 522, A1, m1 and X39.

Services towards Bristol City Centre will divert from Redcliffe Roundabout via Redcliff Street, then left onto Victoria Street over Bristol Bridge, left into Baldwin Street then left into Marsh Street and then right onto Broad Quay to resume normal route. 

The 522, A1, m1 and X39 will be unable to serve the Queen Square stop on Prince Street.

The operator’s depot at Scotstoun has been chosen to provide charging facilities for the organiser’s fleet of 100 electric cars.

The Games event management team will be criss-crossing the city in vehicles supplied by official sponsor BYD, supporting officials, volunteers and venues to help stage 10 sports throughout the 11 days of competition as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.

Hayvatt Road, Wrington will be closed Daily on the 23rd and 24th July, from 09:30 untill 15:30. This will affect service 125.

Services heading towards Wrington normal route to Lower Langford, onto A38 to terminate at Yew Tree Close.

The following bus stops will not able to be served: Garstons and Golden Lion.

Please use stop at Yew Tree Close.

Services heading towards Weston super Mare commencing from Langford Road Blackmoor.

The following bus stops will not able to be served: Garstons, Golden Lion. and Greenwell Lane.

Mortimer Street,Trowbridge will be closed for 10 weeks from Monday 27th July until Friday 2nd October. This will affect service D1.

Service D1 towards Warminster will operate normal route to Cradle Bridge bus stop where they will divert via County Way to resume normal route at Bradley Road.

The following stops will be unable to be served:- Mortimer Street and Park Street

Please use either Yeoman Way or Cradle Bridge bus stops instead.

Service X4 | Brook Lane (SE)

Brook Lane (SE) bus stop in Bridge Road, Sarisbury Green will be closed on Tuesday 11 August 2026 at 09:30 till 15:30: This will affect the service X4 towards Fareham only.
