Somerset Services Delays due to M5 Closure

Due to the M5 being closed between J23 and J22, this is causing delays to services 14, 21, 21a, 22 and B1's 
 
Delays are up to and over 1 Hour.

Service 91 - Stainbeck Lane closure - Diversion

Due to the closure of Stainbeck Lane, the following diversions will be in place; 

Towards Halton Moor: Stainbeck Road, Scott Hall Road, then normal route.

Towards Pudsey: From Stainbeck Lane Roundabout, Scott Hall Road, Potternewton Lane,Stainbeck Road, then normal route.

Currently planned from 19:00 pm 01/07 to 06:00 am 02/07.

Services 7A & 7S - Diversion

Due to Stainbeck Lane closure, the 7A & 7S will divert via the following; 

Towards Alwoodley/Shadwell: From Scott Hall Road, Potternewton Lane, Stainbeck Road, Scott Hall Road, then resuming normal route

Towards City centre: Normal route.

Service CR6 - Roadworks

Due to some essential Roadworks, the CR6 will divert via the following; 

Towards Yeovil

Normal route to Crewkerne Market Square, then A356 to A303 to Cartgate, then A3088, Western Relief Road, Watercombe Lane, Bunford Hollow Roundabout, then normal route.

Towards Bridport

Service X2 diversion - Cowbridge

Due to the Pride Parade taking place in Cowbridge High Street on Sunday 28th June we have a diversion in place currently from 11.45am - 15.00pm.

Services will be running via Clare Gardens and A48 in both directions.

Supertram Services withdrawn

Unfortunatley, all supertram services have been withdrawn. Buses on tram route to accept tram tickets.

Service 101 - Road Closure 

Due to a Road closure, the following diversion will be in place; 

After going around Stone Industrial Estate normal route to the roundabout (petrol Station on corner) onto the A34, then normal route.

Services: 6,36,36A - Diversion 

Due to Roadworks, the following diversions will be in place; 

Outbound: Normal route out of the bus station, Bucknall New Road (Lyme Kiln Bank), Leek Road, Victoria Road.

The Heath, Dedham is closed for roadworks. The permit's end date is 30 June 23:59 BST.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 102 will divert in both directions via Long Road West.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• The Marlborough Head
• Forge Street
• Kiln Cottages
• Coopers Lane
• The Anchor
• The Heath

We apologise for the disruption to your bus journey.

Vicarage Road, Roxwell will be closed for daily roadworks from 06/07/2026 to 07/07/2026.

The road will be closed daily between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 46 service will divert in both directions via Boyton Cross and Boyton Cross Lane.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:
