First Bus response to result of Unite ballot on Doncaster strike action

• Latest pay offer is double current inflation

First Bus has confirmed that a pay offer to Unite members at its Doncaster depot has been rejected and industrial action is planned on 28 and 30 March and 7, 22 and 24 April.

18, 18a, 97 & 98 services TOWARDS Hillsborough Interchange will divert along Penistone Road and  Bradfield Road to Hillsborough Corner.

Services FROM Hillsborough Interchange will operate via Langsett Road,  Bamforth Street then along Penistone Road.

Additionally, Donovan Road also becomes blocked  during these times:

Service 501 / X1 - Commercial Street is closed overnight from 2000. Services diverting as follows: 

Towards Huddersfield: From Halifax Bus Station, Winding Road, Prescott Street and the Old Swimming Baths.

Inbound services are unaffected.

17:53 and 18:53 from North Station will be starting at Osborne Street at 18:05 and 19:05 due to heavy traffic on the route.

Due to repair works on Old street in Clevedon, services from 0400 on Saturday 21st March until 23.59 on Sunday 22nd March will be on the following diversions:

X6/ X7 - to Clevedon - normal route on Tickenham Road, Northern Way, Moor lane and resume normal route. Towards Bristol operate reverse of above.
