  • Towards the Park & Ride site: Passengers may board at Westgate Buildings, Monmouth Place, Park Lane or The Weston, however passengers cannot get OFF at those stops, or any other stops before the Park & Ride site.

Parking

​​​​​​​Overnight parking is permitted at all Park & Ride sites around Bath, however, if parking overnight charged apply. Payment must be made via the MiPermit App

You may use the park and ride without using the bus, however if not using the bus, parking charges apply. This also applies to those using Park and Cycle.

All sites offer safety and security with CCTV coverage and good lighting. However, whilst all of these provisions are in place, in line with most car parks, parking of any vehicle is entirely at the owner’s risk.

Newbridge Park & Ride is open 24/7 and as such you will be able to collect your vehicle and exit the park and ride at any time

Find a parking space and park your car free of charge. Then, simply board the next bus into town and buy your ticket if you haven't already done so on the First Bus App. You'll find information on all our First Bus App, select your area as Bath and then search Bath Park & Ride.

No, there’s no need to book. Simply follow the four easy steps: drive to the site, park for free, buy your ticket on the bus, or on the First Bus app, and ride into Bath.

No, no registration is required. Simply park for free, board the P&R service, purchase a ticket from your driver and enjoy your day! If using Newbridge P&R without purchasing a P&R ticket, parking charges using the MiPermit App

Don’t worry — all our Park & Ride buses are equipped with audio and visual next stop announcements to guide you along the way. The driver will be happy to help if needed, and you can also use the First Bus app to track where you are along the route.

No, but if you get off at Westgate Buildings, The Roman Baths are just a short 5 minute walk away along Westgate Street.

The 21 does not serve Bath Spa Station, Westgate Buildings is approximately a 10 minute walk away along St James’ Parade/Dorchester St.

Payment & Tickets

Find a parking space and park your car free of charge. Then, simply board the next bus into town and pay the driver with cash, contactless debit/credit card or Tap On Tap Off (TOTO) if you haven't already got your ticket on the First Bus App. Full details of all our tickets for Park & Ride can be found on our app, select your area as Bath and then search Bath Park & Ride.

​​​​​​​Yes. We have a full range of tickets available including discounts for adults travelling together as well as a 10Trip ticket for those making more frequent trips on the service. Alongside this, any number of children aged 4 and under, and up to five children aged 5 to 15, can travel for free with each fare-paying adult. However, no child fares are available for P&R Services

​​​​​​​Yes. Concessionary Bus Pass holders are able to use their passes after 09:00 Monday – Friday and all day Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays

Yes. If using a 2xAdult ticket, passengers must travel together. This is because you’ll only get one ticket for your group, not a ticket each

Up to 2 people can travel on a 2xAdult ticket. No further group tickets are available explicitly for P&R.

Vehicle & Site Restrictions

Newbridge P&R has a height restriction of 6’6”/2.0m for vehicles wishing to use the site.

Accessibility

All our buses are fully accessible for wheelchairs and buggies with step-free entrances that can be lowered to kerb height and have fold out ramps - just ask the driver if you need to use it. Inside the bus there are designated spaces for both wheelchairs and buggies as well as priority seating for mobility-impaired passengers.

Facilities

Newbridge P&R has a range of facilities with 698 parking spaces including 4 EV charging bays. Alongside this, public toilets are available at the site as well as cycle parking.

Pets

Dogs are permitted on Park & Ride buses providing they are quiet, well-behaved and are kept off the seats.

Support

​​​​​​​Contact the First Bus Lost Property Team using 0345 646 0707 or use our Lost Property form. We will then check to see if it has been handed in. If we have an item matching the description, we will contact you to provide you with a lost property reference and a time and place of where you can collect the item from. Any lost property found on our vehicles, providing the item is not perishable, will be kept for one month.
