Getting to Forwards Festival
Heading to Forwards Festival at Bristol Downs? Our shuttle bus will take you from Bristol Temple Meads via the city centre, right to the festival site.
Forwards Festival 2026
Forwards Festival returns to Durdham Downs on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August.
Doors open from 12 noon, with the festival ending by 11pm each day. Last entry is at 8pm.
Festival shuttle bus
Our shuttle bus service will run between Bristol Temple Meads and the Forwards Festival site at Stoke Road.
The service will stop at Queen Square on Prince Street before heading up to the Downs. You'll be dropped around 800 metres from the festival entrance.
The shuttle is operated by First Bus.

Getting to the festival
Leave the car at home and take the shuttle from Bristol Temple Meads or Queen Square.
The bus will take you up to the Downs, with the festival stop at Stoke Road around 800m from the entrance.
Allow extra time for your journey as buses may be busier than usual around the festival.
