It’s a discounted ticket for people aged 16–21 and full-time students. These tickets are cheaper than adult fares and available to buy quickly and easily through the First Bus App in most regions.

Through ticket gifting, which lets someone else buy and send you a ticket via the app.
Students will need a valid student photo ID (like your university card, NUS card, or International Student Identity Card).
In some towns and cities, you may need a local photo ID card to prove your age.
Refunds: If your ticket hasn’t been activated, we can refund it. If it has already been activated, refunds aren’t normally available, but we’ll review exceptional cases.
Transfers: If you lose or replace your phone, you can transfer your tickets to your new device using the “Transfer now” button in the app. Tickets can’t be shared between accounts.
Tickets are valid for the fare zones shown in the First Bus App when you buy them. In some areas, there are multi-operator tickets that let you travel with more than one bus company.
Yes. Drivers or inspectors may ask you to show a valid photo ID. If you don’t have it with you, you may need to pay the full adult fare.
