Storm Darragh - Saturday, 7th December 2024
Latest update: 16:30 on Friday, 6th December 2024
** ALL services suspended until at least 12:00 (midday) on Saturday, 7th December **
We’ll be reviewing this page regularly throughout the day and will share updates here, as well as on our social media channels, as soon as we’re able.
Due to the severe weather forecast because of Storm Darragh, we have made the decision to suspend the following services for the safety of our passengers and staff:
- All Pembrokeshire services (302, 322, 349, 356, 381, X49) and our TrawsCymru services (T1, T1A, T1X): These will be suspended from midnight (00:01) on Saturday and will not operate at all on Saturday, 7th December.
- Late night Swansea University services: The service N91 will be suspended from 00:13 on Saturday, 7th December, this means that the following N91 trips will not operate: 00:19, 01:05, 01:49, 02:35, 03:19. The service N92 will be suspended from 00:25 on Saturday, 7th December, this means that the following N92 trips will not operate: 00:30, 01:00, 01:30, 02:00, 02:30, 03:00, 03:30.
- Late night Vale of Glamorgan service 304: The service 304 will operate the 22:55 Llantwit Major to Cardiff trip and the 23:15 Cardiff to Llantwit Major trip as normal. The service 304 will then be suspended until at least midday on Saturday, 7th December.
- All other First Cymru bus services not listed above: These will be suspended from midnight (00:01) on Saturday until at least midday on Saturday, 7th December. We will provide further updates if there are any changes.
We strongly advise against all travel during this time. High winds and heavy rain are likely to cause dangerous conditions on the roads and throughout the region.
What You Need to Know
- Resumption of services: We aim to resume services from midday for non-Pembrokeshire routes, subject to safety assessments.
- Staying informed: Follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates, or check back on this page as the situation develops.
We apologise for the disruption and inconvenience this may cause but hope you understand that this decision has been made with everyone’s safety in mind. Please take extra care and stay safe during the storm.
