By working in partnership with Suffolk County Council and increasing service frequency, we are making travel more convenient and accessible for our customers in and around Lowestoft.”

Cllr Chris Chambers, Transport Strategy, Planning and Waste at Suffolk County Council, said: “Following a successful bid submission, Suffolk County Council is pleased to be able to award First Bus BSIP funding for enhancements to some of their Lowestoft Town services.  The funding will be used to increase the service frequency and provide extra trips.  These improvements will offer residents more choices for their bus travel in and around Lowestoft.”
