First Bus, one of the UK’s leading bus operators, today announces the opening of twelve new learning centres, delivering on a groundbreaking learning agreement, established in partnership with Unite the Union.

The partnership, which is unique within the UK bus industry, and is also supported by our RMT Union colleagues, will promote continuous learning and skill development for up to 10,000 frontline employees across the UK.

It includes the creation of six new learning centre hubs and six satellite sites ensuring comprehensive access to vocational and non-vocational training for all frontline staff.

The scheme represents a significant investment by First Bus in its people and demonstrates First Bus’ commitment to employee growth and development.
