The milestone celebration, held at the company's Netham Road depot on Tuesday 18 August, brought together current and former colleagues, family members, customers and invited guests to recognise the people who have shaped the business over the past 100 years.

The event also marked the next chapter in Eagle Coaches' story following its acquisition by First Bus earlier this year. As part of its centenary celebrations, Eagle Coaches unveiled a refreshed brand, reflecting both its proud heritage and its ambitions for the future.

Founded in 1926, Eagle Coaches has built a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality coach travel, supporting schools, businesses, private hire, tours and community groups across the region.

Guests at the celebration enjoyed an afternoon of live music, food, historical displays and opportunities to reflect on Eagle Coaches' rich history alongside its new visual identity.

Josh Ball, General Manager of Eagle Coaches, said: "Reaching 100 years is an incredible achievement and a testament to the generations of my family and colleagues whose hard work, dedication and commitment have made Eagle Coaches what it is today.

"This celebration was about recognising everyone who has been part of our journey – past and present – while also looking to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. Our refreshed brand reflects that ambition, combining our proud heritage with a modern identity that will carry us into our next chapter."

Gareth Davies, Managing Director of First Bus Coach Businesses, said: "Eagle Coaches has built an outstanding reputation over the past century, and we're proud to be supporting the business as it enters this exciting new chapter.

"Since joining First Bus earlier this year, Eagle Coaches has continued to go from strength to strength. We're committed to investing in the business and supporting its growth, while protecting the values, expertise and high-quality service that have earned the trust of customers and communities across Bristol and the South West for generations."

Kerry McCarthy, MP for Bristol East, said: "It was a pleasure to join Eagle Coaches in celebrating an incredible 100 years in business, and wonderful to recognise such a historic part of Bristol's identity here in the Bristol East constituency.

“Reaching this remarkable milestone is a real achievement and reflects the important role Eagle Coaches has played in the city and surrounding communities across generations. It was particularly special to meet the family behind the business, whose warmth and dedication have clearly inspired a deep sense of loyalty among employees, both past and present.

“I wish everyone at Eagle Coaches every success for the future as the company begins its next century serving the many communities across Bristol.”

The centenary marks both a celebration of Eagle Coaches' heritage and the beginning of a new era, building on a century of experience while continuing to invest in the people, vehicles and services that will serve customers for generations to come.
