Step 2 of 5

What happens next?

Hundreds of items are found on our buses every day.

Items are not logged immediately. They are only returned to the depot once the bus completes its daily service. As our buses operate multiple journeys throughout the day, this is usually at the end of the day.

Once returned to the depot:

  • Items are logged by our admin team.
  • They typically appear on our system the following day.
  • This may take longer during weekends or bank holidays.

Your enquiry will be matched against our records using a scoring system. This is why it’s important to provide as much detail as possible — it helps us identify potential matches accurately.

Please note:

  • There is no need to contact us for updates.
  • We cannot assist on the same day the item was lost, as it will not yet be logged.
Step 3 of 5

Getting updates on your case

We review lost property records regularly throughout the day.

  • We will keep checking our logs for 7 days.
  • We will notify you whether or not your item has been handed in.
  • Please avoid submitting multiple enquiries, as this may delay the process.
Step 4 of 5
