Whitefield Road in Speedwell will be closed to service 6 between 12:00 and 15:30 on Wednesday 4th February to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 6 heading towards Centre will operate normal route as far as the end of Thicket Avenue but instead of turning right into Lodge Causeway will go straight across into Charlton Road then right at the traffic lights into Speedwell Road to resume normal route at the roundabout by the Wackum Inn.

Service 6 towards Kingswood will operate the reverse of the above.

Regretfully the bus stops between and including Worcester Close in Lodge Causeway and Whitewood Road in Brook Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Wackum Innn bus stop or the Quadrant West bus stop on Thicket Avenue

All bus stops on Speedwell Road will be observed in both directions.

UPDATE 16:46 Thursday 26th February.

The full lengthof Daventry Road in Knowle is currently closed to services 16 and 36 and will remain fully closed until 18:00 on Sunday 31st May to facilitate carriageway works.

All services will be diverted from Melvin Square via Ilminster Avenue and Salcombe Road to resume normal route at Broad Walk Square in both directions.

Regretfully the St Barnabas Close bus stops for services 16 and 36 will not be served in either direction and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Melvin Square or Broad Walk Square. The bus stop on Broad Walk Square roundabout will be observed towards Melvin Square.
