Route 45 will be extended beyond Bristol City Centre via Temple Meads Station, Wells Road, Broadwalk, Hengrove and Whitchurch to and from Hengrove Leisure Park. This replaces the current section of route 73 in this area, and will provide new direct links between the Hanham area and Temple Meads Station bus stops. The times of buses will be revised across the route. Buses coming into the City Centre from Cherry Gardens will now stop at bus stop B10 on The Haymarket after the Bearpit, rather than stop S6 on Bond Street before the Bearpit.
The Friday night/Saturday morning and Saturday night/Sunday morning Night Buses between the City Centre and Hengrove on route 73 will continue to operate, and will now run as the number 45. These journeys will finish at The Haymarket stop B9 on their way into town.
A minor route and timetable change will be introduced on journeys running between Hutton and Portishead. Instead of running direct via Broadway, buses returning from Hutton will run via Oldmixon Road, Totterdown Lane and Burnham Drive to Bleadon Hill and then via Bridgwater Road to Weston General Hospital (the same as towards Hutton).
Additionally, the existing 0700 journey from Portishead will operate as new service X5x to a revised timetable.
Revised timetable, with minor changes to the early morning and evening frequency to better reflect customer demand.
On Saturdays, the last journey from the city centre will be later than now, leaving The Centre at 21.05 rather than 20.28.
The X6 will have a new timetable with minor amendments. Late evening buses between Bristol and Clevedon will now be on the X6 rather than X7, speeding up the journey at these times. One journey each way on weekdays at peak times will run as Service X6a, operating via Nailsea to partially replace withdrawn service X7.
Route 16 will have reverted to its normal route at Avon Street by 5th April, following the completion of long term roadworks. This means buses will be able to serve the Glass Wharf bus stops again, across the footbridge from Temple Meads Station, for improved links between Temple Meads and East Bristol. There will be no change to the timetable.
The service will now terminate at Rupert Street bus stop B6 in the City Centre rather than The Centre stop C9.
This will be a new service operating alongside service X6 between Clevedon and Bristol. The X6a will additionally serve Nailsea, Wraxall and Long Ashton.
This will be a new service, running hourly on Monday – Saturday daytimes from the City Centre (Rupert Street) via Broadmead, Old Market, Lawrence Hill, Redfield, St. George, Two Mile Hill, Kingswood, Staple Hill, Fishponds, Eastgate and Muller Road to Southmead Hospital, providing new direct links from St. George to Southmead Hospital. It will combine with service 17 to provide a half hourly service between Kingswood, Staple Hill, Fishponds and Southmead Hospital during the daytime.
Revised timetable, with the Monday to Friday peak frequency improved to up to every 20 minutes (from 30 minutes) to increase the number of express buses between Fishponds Road and the City Centre
The X7 will be withdrawn. Evening buses between Bristol and Clevedon will now be covered by service X6, please see above. Buses between Backwell, Nailsea & Backwell Station, Trendlewood Way, Nailsea town centre and Pound Lane will now be covered by new service A2. The X11/X11x will link Nailsea and Clevedon via Tickenham. One journey each way on the X6 will run as service X6a and additionally serve Long Ashton. The Dial Hill/Edward Road area of Clevedon will no longer be served, due to low usage.
Route 349 will be replaced by the extension of service 43 to and from Keynsham. Please see full information in the service 43 section. In the City Centre, the 43 will pick up towards Keynsham from Bond Street (bus stop S6), Rupert Street (B4), The Centre Broad Quay (C3), Redcliffe Way (R5), Temple Gate (T3) and Temple Meads Station (T1) rather than the Bus Station, Wine Street and Victoria Street.
Revised timetable across the day, alongside changes to other Fishponds Road services.
The X9 will have a revised timetable. Additional journeys will operate on Sunday evenings following the withdrawal of service X7.
The 522 will have a revised timetable as part of associated funding changes. The service will still operate hourly between Bristol and Bath, but the short journeys between Bristol and Keynsham will no longer operate.
The 48x will have a revised timetable, alongside changes to other Fishponds Road services. The 47x will have an increased frequency at peak times, to give an express ‘x’ bus on the 47x/48x/49x along the Fishponds Road up to every 10 minutes.
The m4 will begin to serve part of Brabazon following the completion of roads in the area. Buses will serve new stops at Runway Avenue East near the junction with the A38 at Filton, and stops near Fairlawn Avenue. Buses will then use Fairlawn Avenue to and from Hayes Way, until the remaining roads are ready. There will be no change to the timetable.

The off-peak weekday frequency will be reduced to every 30 minutes following the ending of funding. The service will still operate at its increased 20 minute frequency at weekday peak times. After long term road closures in the Alveston area, the service will have reverted to normal route into and out of Thornbury.

The Y1 will have a revised timetable across the route.
Revised timetable. Due to low customer demand, this service will operate only during the off peak on Monday to Fridays and daytime on Saturdays.
The Y2 will have a revised timetable. Following the completion of the replacement bridge on the A432 over the M4 motorway, the Y2 will be re-routed between Yate and the M32 via the full length of Badminton Road through Coalpit Heath to Wick Wick Roundabout, and then via the A4174 Ring Road to Hambrook (the same as the Y1 route prior to the closure of the bridge in 2023). The Y1 will continue to serve Frampton Cotterell and Winterbourne as now. If the bridge doesn’t re-open in time, then the Y2 will continue to run via Winterbourne until it opens.
At Ladden Garden Village, buses will extend to serve more of the area, running beyond the current Leechpool Way stop to and from the top of Fletcher Road.
Between Hengrove and the City Centre, the 73 will be replaced by the extended 45 along the same route (please see service 45 above). Between the City Centre and UWE Frenchay, the route will mostly no longer operate, due to low usage and a reduction in demand for travel to and from UWE Frenchay. Services 74, 75 and 76 will continue to link south Bristol with the Gloucester Road every few minutes, and route 72 will continue to link Gloucester Road and UWE Frenchay via Lockleaze. An occasional early morning journey from The Centre to UWE Frenchay will still operate.

The 24/7 overnight buses during the rest of the week will continue to run between The Centre and Kingswood as the number 43.
At the Avonmouth end of the route, to speed up journeys from Avonmouth and Shirehampton to and from the City Centre, buses will now run directly between Shirehampton Green and the Portway via Park Road, instead of via Shirehampton Road and Sylvan Way. Shirehampton Road will still be served up to every 15 minutes by routes 3 and 4. Buses that run to and from Avonmouth Trading Estate will be focussed around shift change times – at other times, buses will terminate at McLaren Road in Avonmouth village.
At the Kingswood end of the route, the service will be extended beyond Kingswood to Warmley (Station Road) at most times to provide additional buses over this section alongside route 43. Mill Lane, Millers Drive and North Common will instead be served by route 43 (please see below). North Street will no longer be served.
