UPDATE 23rd June: These works have now been completed ahead of time and buses will operate normal route this evening.

Hill Street in KIngswood will be closed overnight to services 19 and 43 between 20:00 to 06:00 from Thursday 9th through to Thursday 23rd June (eleven nights excluding the weekends).

Services 19 and 43 heading towards Kingswood will be diverted via Tenniscourt Road, New Cheltenham Road and Alma Road to resume their normal routes on the HIgh Street.

Regretfully the bus stops Tenniscourt Road, Fussell Court and Crates Court will not be served.

Passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Brook Road bus stop on Tenniscourt Road (by Care home) or the Civic Centre bus stop in the High Street.

Service 19 heading towards Bath and 43 heading towards Cadbury Heath will operate the reverse of the above.

Regretfully the bus stops Crates Close, Woodstock Road and Tenniscourt Road will not be served.

Passengers are advsed to board or alight at the Civic Centre in the High Street or the Brook Road bus stop (opposite care home) in Tenniscourt Road.

Due to overnight works at the link road and Station Road roundabout, closures will be in place and as such buses diverted.

Service Y1 will divert from B&Q to use Kennedy Way behind the leisure centre to resume normal route at Sundridge park in both directions.

Service Y2 will divert from Peg Hill to use Gravel Hill Road, Greenways Road and Church Road to pick up at Morrisons.

Service Y6 Will divert from B&Q to use Kennedy Way behind the leisure centre and stay on the dual carriageway all the way along Cotswold Road to resume at St Johns Way, this will be the return route back towards Station Road.

Due to roadworks as part of the council active travel scheme, Bradley Stoke Way northbound will be closed to traffic and as such services m1 towards Cribbs Causeway and T1 towards Thornbury will be diverted to use Winterbourne Road, Orpheus Avenue and Baileys Court Road to resume normal route at Great Meadow Roundabout. Please expect some delays.

The Great Meadow stop will not be able to be served, but buses will instead serve the Great Meadow Roundabout stop on Baileys Court Road. No other bus stops on the diversion will be served.

Due to ongoing travel improvement along the Victoria Street corridor, Victoria Street will be closed in the northbound direction (towards the city centre) from 31st March 2025. Temple Meads Station stop T7 at the end of Victoria Street will be closed.

Routes 1 and 2 towards Cribbs Causeway, 2a towards Brentry and 72 towards UWE Frenchay will instead stop at Temple Meads Station stop T2 on the main road (Temple Gate), and then divert via Temple Way and Counterslip to resume their normal route at Bristol Bridge. Buses will additionally serve stop T8 on Temple Way.

Routes 39/X39, 172, 349, 374, 375, 376, 376a and 522 will stop at Temple Meads Station stop T2 as normal, and then divert via Temple Way and Counterslip to resume their normal route at Bristol Bridge. These routes will also additionally stop at Temple Way stop T8 on the diversion.
