Due to the long term roadworks at Devonshire Road, the closure of a primary diversion route Hogg Lane and additional shopper traffic, route 100 is diverting Grays - Lakeside.
Diverting via Hathaway Road, Lodge Lane, the Treacle Mine. Arterial Road North.
This diversion will likely be on until 1800.
Extra measures to further divert route 100 Lakeside to Grays may be necessary later today.
Service 300
Due to telecoms works, traffic around the Wood Street Tesco's area, is heavily congested.
Route 300 between Galleywood and Chelmsford centre is delayed.
Route 300 will divert Basildon bound from Chelmsford to Galleywood via Baddow Road and Beehive Lane.
It will not serve New London Road and Wood Street during the significant traffic issues.
