Glasgow City Centre TRC Information

Within Glasgow City Centre our buses are regulated by the Glasgow City Council “City Centre Traffic Regulation Condition” which covers how we are able to pick up and set down passengers at bus stops.
Between 07:30 and 18:30 each day our buses can only pick up and set down at stops allocated for that service for the minimum period necessary. IMPORTANT – Once the driver has closed the door to depart the stop, the TRC prevents it being opened again for passengers who subsequently wish to board.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause but due to the penalties that exist for non-compliance, our staff are required to observe the TRC

Bus Stop Closure (609029) | Renfield Street

Services 2, 60/60A, 61, 240, 255, N2 & N240

Due to emergency works and associated lane restrictions, bus stop 609029 on Renfield Street will be closed until works are complete.

The above services should use Argyle Street at Argyle Arcade.

Service 43 | Wardie Road

To allow for resurfacing works on Monday 22nd September 08:00 until Wednesday 24th September 18:00 Wardie Road will be closed

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation:

Service 43 towards Glasgow Fort diverting via Wellhouse Road, Shandwick Street and Bogbain Road.

Service 43 towards Parkhead diverting the opposite of above.

Service 242 | Lomond Drive

To allow for Carriageway patching on Friday 19th September Lomond Drive will be closed between Etive Street and Linnhe Crescent.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 242 towards Pather diverting via Etive Street and Ness Street to terminus.

Service 242 towards Wishaw diverting the reverse of the above.

Queen Street Station - Bus Stop Closure

Queen Street Station - Bus Stop Closure

Due to works associated with the Glasgow Avenues Project:

Bus stop 609088 at Queen Street Station will close

from Monday 25th August until works are complete.

During this time, the nearest alternative stop will be:

Services 19, 38/A/B/C/E, 57/57A - North Fredrick Street.

Service 41 - George Street.

Services 398 will use the stop before Queen Street Station at Caffe Nerro.

Bus stop closure Highburgh Road - 4 & 4A

Due to building works, bus stop 6090297 at Highburgh Road before Byres Road will be closed from Friday 2nd May until works are completed (approximately 24 weeks).

A temporary stop will be in place.
