Severe Disruption - North Somerset services
Severe Disruption to North Somerset services
Following an earlier RTC on the M5, the motorway was closed for many hours and this has caused gridlock across the area.
Services X1, X4, X5, X6, X7, X8, X9, A3, U2, 20 (Weston-super-Mare - Burnham), 125, 126 and Weston-super-Mare town services are all affected.
Unfortunately, buses have been stuck not moving in many cases and we have experienced delays of up to 5 hours while travelling along the A370.
A very limited evening service is operating tonight (Thursday 3rd October) as most buses are still stuck on the A370.
As our drivers have been stuck on buses for several hours, this has impacted their legal driving hours and therefore we are expecting disruption to continue into the morning of Friday 4th October.
We would like to thank our staff and customers for their efforts, patience and understanding today.
