Hengrove Way/Airport Road - (37, 74, m1) - OVERNIGHT CLOSURE - 22nd - 24th September

ROAD CLOSURE – Hengrove Way/Airport Road, Hengrove – Services 37, 74 & m1

The complete intersection of Airport Road and Hengrove Way will be closed overnight to the above services between 20:00 and 07:00 from Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th September (three nights) to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 37 heading towards Avonmouth to divert via Novers Lane, Whitchurch Lane and Hengrove Park in both directions.

Service 74 heading towards Hengrove Depot will divert via Throgmorton Road, Creswick Road, Creswicke Road, Novers Lane and Hengrove Way.

Service 74 to Bradley Stoke will divert as above and via Throgmorton to resume normal route at the junction of Airport Road.

Service m1 heading toward Hengrove Park to divert via Hartcliffe Way, Novers Lane, Whitchurch Lane and Hengrove Park.

Bamfield, Whitchurch - (37, m1) - CLOSURE - Monday 22nd September - Thursday 25th September

ROAD CLOSURE – Bamfield, Whitchurch

Services 37 & m1

Bamfield in Whitchurch will be closed again to service 37 and m1 between 08:00 and 18:00 from Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th September to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 37 heading towards Avonmouth are diverting via Hengrove Way, Whitchurch Lane and left at the traffic lights.

Service 37 heading towards Knowle are to operate the reverse of the above.

Service m1 heading towards Cribbs Causeway are diverting via Whitchurch Lane, right at the roundabout and Creswicke Road.

Service m1 heading towards Hengrove are to operate the reverse of the above.

  Industrial Action affecting services
  Industrial Action will affect some services in Bristol on Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th, Thursday 18th and Friday 19th September.
Buses on Bath services 1, 2, 3, 4, 5/5a, 6/6a, 7, 8, 13, 19 (to and from Bristol Parkway), 20, 21, 31, 39/X39 (to and from Bristol), 41, 58, D1/D1x, D2/D2x, OS1, U1/U1N, U2, U3, U4 and U5 will run as normal.
Buses on Weston-super-Mare and North Somerset services 1, 1s, 6, 7, 9, 20, 125, 125s, 126, 611, A3 (Weston Airport Flyer), U2, X1, X1s, X4, X5, X6, X7, X9, X11, X12, X14, X18 and X21 will run as normal.
Buses on Wells services 55, 171, 172 (Bath - Bristol), 173, 174, 373, 374, 375, 376, 376a and 376x will run as normal.
The following services in Bristol will run as normal: 16, 17, 19, 39, 349, 522, metrobus m1, m2, m3/m3x, m4, OS1, SB1, SB2, SB4, SB5, SB6, SB7, T1, U2, X1, X4, X6, X7, X9, X12, X14, X39, Y1, Y2 and Y6 will run as normal.

Other Bristol services will operate a reduced or no service, as per below. Please note - short notice changes may occur.
Real Time Information screens at bus stops will be updated with the revised timetables. The app and journey planner results will not reflect the revised timetables.

1 Cribbs Causeway - Bristol City Centre - Broomhill -Whiteladies Road is closed northbound between Queens Road and St Paul's Road until autumn 2025. Buses are not missing any stops on the diversion, but delays are anticipated.
-Victoria Street in Bristol City Centre is closed northbound, buses are diverting via Temple Way and Counterslip until further notice.
-Due to various diversions, and lane closures at Bath Bridge Roundabout, services are subject to significant delays, particularly at peak times.
-At Brentry Lane towards Cribbs Causeway, there is a temporary bus stop in place outside number 189A Passage Road.

1 Bath City Centre - Southdown Southdown Road, Bath will be closed to service 1 from 07:00 on Tuesday 26 August and will remain fully closed until 18:00 on Friday 17 October. This service will be diverted. The Southdown Avenue, Oriel Grove, Langdon Road and Lytton Gardens bus stops will not be served.

Buses will run normal route to Webbs Wood, then divert via Brook Way to Willow Brook, missing out Webbs Wood Roundabout, The Bridge and Savages Wood Roundabout stops. The only stop they will serve on diversion will be the Braydon Avenue stop on Brook Way.
-Thornbury Road in Alveston is closed towards Thornbury until winter 2025, buses are diverting via Greenhill Lane and missing The Ship bus stop, serving Beanhill Crescent stop instead.
-Webbs Wood stop is currently suspended due to a northbound closure of Bradley Stoke Way. Please use the Webbs Wood Roundabout stop instead.

X39/39 Bath - Bristol Victoria Street in Bristol City Centre is closed northbound - buses are diverting via Temple Way and Counterslip until further notice.  
X4 Bristol - Portishead Normal service.  
X5 Hutton - Weston-super-Mare - Portishead -Walton Road, Clevedon will be closed from 28 July until 26 September. This service will divert via Tickenham Road, Northern Way, Ettingen Way and M5 to resume normal route at the bus stop by Gordano School. Passengers are advised to board or alight at either Clevedon Health Centre bus stops or Gordano School or Sheepfield Gardens for both directions of travel.  
X6/X7 Bristol - Clevedon Normal service.  
X9 Bristol - Nailsea service returning to Normal after the road closure in Wraxall.  
X11 Weston-super-Mare - Clevedon Normal service.  
X12 Weston-super-Mare - Filton Normal service.

Y1/Y2 Bristol - Yate / Ladden Garden Village Normal service.  
Y6 Bristol - Southmead Hospital - Yate & Chipping Sodbury -Monday 8 September Until (estimated) 14 November. Unable to serve Live and Let Live until Church Road on Badminton Road. Passengers to board/alight St Peters Church/Church Road.
-Whiteladies Road is closed northbound between Queens Road and St Paul's Road until autumn 2025. Buses are not missing any stops on the diversion, but delays are anticipated.
