How much does bus travel cost?

Our fares vary by distance, but you'll pay no more than £3 for any single adult journey, and single adult trips within Portishead Clevedon & Nailsea Town zones cost just £1.80! Child single journeys (aged 5-15) are still just £1, wherever you're going!

The easiest way to pay is by using Tap On, Tap Off with your contactless device. We'll automatically work out the best value fare for you, and you'll never pay more than the day ticket price for each day you travel with us - no matter how many journey's you take!

Getting to Work

Commuting to Bristol but don't want the stress of traffic, parking and Clean Air Zone charges? Hop on our X1 service for £3, which runs every 15 minutes at peak times.

Getting out and about

Whether it’s a museum or a mall, a pub or a park - a day out with First Bus means saving time and saving money. During school holidays, our group ticket is discounted to just £10, which allows up to 5 people unlimited travel all day on our services (only available on the First Bus app).
