Bristol Light Festival

Bristol Light Festival is returning for 10 nights from 19 – 28 February 2026.

The festival features captivating, light-based artworks that will illuminate Bristol’s city centre in February 2026, with the first four nights coinciding with the February half-term. Known for transforming the city into a magical outdoor gallery, the festival attracts thousands of visitors each year to experience an unforgettable mix of art and light.

URGENT - Somerset Levels between Burrowbridge and East Lyng - EMERGENCY CLOSURE - (374) - Friday 20th February

UPDATE - 12:00 Friday 20th February.

We have just been made aware that the flood gates have been closed again on the Somerset Levels between Burrowbridge and East Lyng and service 374 will with regret be unable to serve between Street and Taunton until further notice.

Therefore we will be unable serve any bus stops between and including the Pedwell Hill Bottom in Pedwell and Taunton Bus Station in either direction.

Service 374 from Pedwell will be diverted to Bridgwater Bus Station where you can board the service 21 from Bay 4 to Taunton.

Service 374 back from Bridgwater Bus Station to Wells will run at 10:00, 11:56, 14:03, 15:51 and 17:57 and will depart from Bay 6.

We sincerely apologies for the inconvenience this will no doubt cause.

Due to flooding the emergency gates are closed on the A361, Service 374 from Ashcott will remain on the A39 to Bawdrip and then run into Bridgwater, terminating at Bridgwater Bus Station Bay 6. Passengers are then advised to use service services 21/2A to Taunton, tickets will be accepted. We do apologise for any inconvenience. Modified departure times from Bridgwater Bus Station for 374 back to Wells and Bristol will be 10:00 11:56 14:03 15:51 17:47. There is no service between Ashcott and Taunton. NOW OPEN - Crookes Lane (part), Sand Bay - (1) - Wednesday 18th to Friday 20th February

Crookes Lane is now open and service 1 are now operating their normal route.

Crookes Lane (part) in Sand Bay will be closed to services 1 from 08:00 on Wednesday 18th and will remain fully closed until 20:00 on Friday 20th February to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 1 (Weston-super-Mare - Sand Bay) will terminate and commence their journey from the end of Lower Norton Lane alongside the park then on departure turn left onto Crookes Lane to resume normal route.

Regretfully the bus stops between and including Sand Road (terminus) and Lower Norton Lane on Crookes Lane will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at the end of Lower Norton Lane alongside the park.

Please note the service 1 will commence from the park at the same time as its normal departure time from the original terminus.
