Whitson Street at the exit of Bristol Bus Station will be closed from 09.30 on Monday 30th March and will remain closed until 18.00 on Tuesday 31st March. This means that buses cannot access the Bus Station, and the following arrangements will apply. Please note this may change during this closure, so please refer to this page for any updates.

Services 39/X39 to Bath; 172 to Radstock & Bath and 374, 375, 376/376a to Wells and Taunton/Bridgwater/Yeovil, will terminate and start from The Horsefair, opposite Poundland.

This is bus stops S3 and S5, marked on the map below.

Service 349 to Keynsham, 522 to Radstock & Bath and the Airport Flyer service A1 will terminate and start from at Lewins Mead, outside Brewers Fayre/the Premier Inn.

This is bus stop B1, marked on the map below.

Buses will use the full length of the layby - please watch carefully for your bus.

Services X1/X1s to Weston-super-Mare, X4 to Portishead, X6 and X7 to Clevedon, X9 to Nailsea and U2 to Weston-super-Mare will terminate at and start from Rupert Street, by Taka Taka restaurant, across from Bridewell Police Station.

This is bus stop B2, marked on the map below. Buses will use the full length of the lay-by including beyond the adjacent stop B4 - please watch carefully for your bus.

Service 17 will terminate on The Haymarket beside Primark upon arrival (bus stop B10), and start from The Haymarket stop B7 when leaving Bristol.

Service T7 to Chepstow will start from stop H1 outside the Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI) - the usual second stop on its route.

Coach services are not affected - but may be subject to delay as they will leave via the entrance and then need to divert.
