West Street, Bedminster - Road Closure - 44, 75, 76, A1, m1, SB7 - POSTPONED

Services X4, X5 and A2

High Street, Portishead will be closed Monday 13th April 09:30 - 15:30. The above services will divert as follows:

Services X5 and A2 to Sainsburys will divert from the Gordano School stop via Bristol Road, Wyndham Way and High Street Sainsbury’s. 

The X5 service will do the reverse of the above route on the return journey.

Service X4 to Portishead/Bristol diverting from Habour Road via Cabstand, West Hill (serving the bus stops from here) then operating via rte normal route up to Avonway and via the Portishead loop, Nore Road and onto Habour Road.

Bradley Stoke Way between Savages Wood Road and Patchway Brook roundabout will be closed overnight between 20:00 and 06:00 from Friday 10th April to Sunday 19th April (nine nights) to facilitate further carriageway works.

Services m1 and T1 heading from Bristol are to operate normal route as far as Webbs Wood Road and then divert via Bailey Court Road, Brook Way and to resume normal routes.

Services heading towards Bristol are to operate the reverse of the above.

Update as at 11th April: The below works have been postponed and won't now take place on 13th April. We will update with new dates when we know them. 

West Street will be closed in both directions to services 44, 75, 76, A1, m1 and SB7 on Monday 13th April between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for works.

Services 44, 75, 76, m1, A1 and SB7 heading towards Hengrove/Airport from Dalby Avenue will divert left under the Railway Bridge onto Malago Road and right onto Bedminster Road to resume normal routes at Parson Street gyratory.

Services 44, 75, A1 and SB7 heading towards The Centre will - from Bedminster Down Road - divert via Bedminster Road, Malago Road, under the Railway Bridge onto Sheene Road and to resume normal route from East Street (44/75/SB7) or Dalby Avenue (A1).

Service 76 and m1 from Hartcliffe Way heading towards The Centre will divert right into Bedminster Road and then as the above. Therefore, these services will not be able to serve the Parson Street Station in the bus gate.

Ilchester, Yeovil Road 17th – 23rd April 09:30-15:00

Yeovil Road in Ilchester will be closed to the above services between 09:30 & 15:00 17th-23rd April to facilitate resurfacing.

Service 376 towards Yeovil, services will divert via Edmunds Hill Crossroads, A372 towards Podimore Roundabout, A303 (Taunton/Exeter) towards Yeovil resuming route at the roundabout.

Reverse route applies.

M32 will be closed Northbound from Monday 13th April each night until Friday 17th April between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 (five nights). This is to carry out works.

Services heading away from the Central area are to operate normal route as far as Junction 3, M32, Slip Road, Easton Way, Stapleton Road, Fishponds Road, Downend Road, Badminton Road, A4174, M32 to resume normal route from the roundabout at Junction 1.

The Causeway, Street/Glastonbury 30th April – 13th May 1800-0730 374/375/376/376x

The Causeway (A39) will be closed overnight (1800-0730) from the 30th April until the 13th May for resurfacing works.

Services returning to Wells will operate via Street Inn Roundabout, Strode College, Street Drove, Fisher’s Hill, resuming route at Glastonbury Town Hall.

Reverse applies.

UPDATE 1130 Starting to resume normal route

Due to emergency road closure on Towerhill Road Sandford, the following diversion will be in place:
 

Sandford church, Dinghurst Road, Sidcott Lights, WINDSCOMBE, Castle Hill and Banwell Castle in both directions.

Savage Wood Road is closed until 23:59 on Sunday 21st June to for carriageway works.

As a result services will divert via Willowbrook and Savages Road (From Brook Way).

*Now expected to open on 31st May - Road Works extended*

UPDATE 16:46 Thursday 26th February. 

The full lengthof Daventry Road in Knowle is currently closed to services 16 and 36 and will remain fully closed until 18:00 on Sunday 31st May to facilitate carriageway works.

All services will be diverted from Melvin Square via Ilminster Avenue and Salcombe Road to resume normal route at Broad Walk Square in both directions.

Regretfully the St Barnabas Close bus stops for services 16 and 36 will not be served in either direction and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Melvin Square or Broad Walk Square. The bus stop on Broad Walk Square roundabout will be observed towards Melvin Square.
