Soundwell Road between Colston Street and Midland Road in Soundwell will be closed overnight to services 7, 17 and 19 between 19:00 and 06:00 on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th November (two nights) to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 7 will be diverted between Morley Road and the High Street in Staple Hill in both directions and will not serve the Morley Road and Portcullis C (towards Centre) or D bus stops in either direction and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Gloucester Road bus stops in both direction or Portcullis A (by cafe) towards Staple Hill or Portcullis B (normally served by 49 service) on the High Street towards the Centre.

Service 17 will be diverted between Woodland Way and High Street in Staple Hill at the junction of Acacia Road in both directions and will not serve any of the following bus stops in either direction.

St Bedes Road, Woodland Avenue, The Turnpike, Portland Street, The Portcullis D and Portcullis B in both directions and also Pendennis Road towards Kingswood. Alternative bus stops are Woodland Way on Henshaw Road heading towards Kingswood or the Woodland Way bus stop on Hillfields Avenue heading towards Southmead Hospital or Portcullis B on the High Street heading towards Southmead Hospital or Thicket Road bus stop on the High Street heading towards Kingswood.

Service 19 will be diverted between the top of Syston Way and Downend village and will not serve the following bus stops in either direction -

The Waterworks, The Turnpike and Portland Street, Portcullis, Victoria Street and Christchurch School in either direction. Alternatives are the Morley Terrace bus stop on Downend Road towards Bath or Cross Street bus stop on Downend Road towards Parkway or the bus stops in Downend village.

It will take on another diversion from Downend village due to the current A4174 closure (see separate page for details).
