As we head into the quieter summer months, there are some changes to our services in Bristol from Sunday 31st May:

Service 77 (Stoke Bishop - Bristol City Centre - Muller Road Top) has now finished for the summer. It will return for the autumn from Sunday 30th August.

In the meantime, service 5 will continue to link Stoke Bishop/Blackboy Hill, Clifton Down, Clifton Village and the City Centre, and other services Whiteladies Road (1/2/2a/3/4) and Gloucester Road (74/75/76) to/from the City Centre.

On service 8 (Temple Meads Station - Bristol City Centre - Clifton), we will be adding new overnight journeys on Friday and Saturday nights (/Saturday and Sunday mornings). These will leave Temple Meads Station at 01:10, 02:10, 03:10 and 04:10 each night.

Allison Road, Brislington - Road Closure - 1, 36 - 02.06.2026

Allison Road Brislington has been closed for road works on 2nd June 09:30-19:30 affecting services 1 & 36.

Service 1 to Cribbs Causeway will turn left from Broomhill road and continue along School Road to Bath Road, at the 1 way system will then turn into Wick Road and continue service from Sandy Park Road. services to Broomhill will turn right at the top of Sandy Park Road, continue along Wick Road to Bath Road, at Brislington Hill will turn left into School Road as far as the junction of Broomhill Road to continue service.

Stops at Wick Crescent and Sherwell Road cannot be served, use Winchester Road or Broomhill Road stops.

Service 36 will not use School Road but will follow the service 1 Diversion Via Wick Road.

Wick Crescent, Sherwell Road The Rock , Jean Road & Church Parade stops cannot be served, use Brislington Square or Allison Road stops.

Pulteney Bridge,Bath - Road Closure - U1 and U1N - starting 01.06.26

Pulteney Bridge,Bath will be closed between 19:00-06:00 from Monday 1st June to Saturday 13th June. This will affect services U1 and U1N.

Service U1 will commence/terminate at Bog Island (Ca) bus stop during this closure.

Service U1N heading towards Bath University will follow normal route to Widcombe then turn left into North Parade and serve “Bog Island”. It will then come back along North Parade and turn left resuming normal route route at the roundabout.

Service U1N towards Central Bath will follow the reverse of the above.

The Following Stops will not be served:- Edward Street, Laura Place,Grand Parade,Bath Abbey.

Please use stops at Bog Island or North Parade.

Manvers Street / Bridge Street, Bath - Road Closures - Various services - starting 26.05.26

Manvers Street and Bridge Street in Bath city centre will be closed from Tuesday 26th May for three weeks. After this, Bridge Street will re-open, but Manvers Street will remain closed until November 2026 for major works to rebuild the road above historic vaults. Services 2, 3, 4, 6/6a/7, 13, 20, D1/D1x, U1, U1N and U3 will be affected.

Due to the long term nature of this closure, we are treating it as a service change rather than ad-hoc diversions. Timetables, app tracking and online Journey Planning data will be updated to reflect the changes.

Services are returning to normal routes---Marsh Street, Bristol will be closed to services 24,46,47,47x,48,48x,49 and 49x between 0800-1700 on Tuesday 2 June. All services will be using the Lay-by on Hengrove Promenade outside the Leisure centre as an alternative.

1	Weston-super-Mare - Sand Bay	Normal service.	Beach Road, Sand Bay at Weston-super-Mare will be closed from Wednesday 3rd June to Friday 5th June 2026, from 08.00 until 17.00 each day. Buses will be unable to serve Sand Bay at all during the closure. Kewstoke will be the nearest buses are able to get to Sand Bay. We will not be able to serve stops between and including Lower Norton Lane and Sand Bay, Sand Road terminus. Please use the stops at Crookes Lane or the stop on Lower Norton Lane.
1s	Kewstoke - Worle	Normal service.	Beach Road, Sand Bay at Weston-super-Mare will be closed from Wednesday 3rd June to Friday 5th June 2026, from 08.00 until 17.00 each day. Buses will be unable to serve Sand Bay at all during the closure. Kewstoke will be the nearest buses are able to get to Sand Bay.

2	Bath City Centre - Foxhill	From 26 May 2026 until November 2026, buses on route 2 into the City Centre will be diverted after Widcome Baptist Church via Rossiter Road and Churchill Bridge to Dorchester Street, missing out North Parade and Manvers Street. 6	Bristol City Centre - Kingswood	Whitefield Road/Berkley Road closed Monday 18 May until Friday 5 June. Stops between Whitewood Road and Worcester Close inclusive will NOT be served in both directions. Please use stops on the diversion route along Speedwell Road and Charlton Road.

8	Bristol Temple Meads - Bristol City Centre - Clifton	Normal service.	Clifton Park, Clifton will be closed on 4th June, from 09:30 until 15:30. Towards Stoke Bishop this service will not be able to serve Lansdown Road bus stop. Please use either Clifton Village or Clifton Park instead.
8	Bath City Centre - Kingsway	Normal service.
9	Weston-super-Mare - Worle	Madiera Road will be closed between 0730-1830 from Monday 1 June until Friday 26 June. Services will be diverted. Paragon Road bus stop will not be served. Please use either Upper Church Road or Highbury Road bus stops instead.
13	Foxhill - Bath City Centre - Elmhurst	Normal service.
16	Whitchurch - Bristol City Centre - Fishponds	Update 11:00 Days Road has now reopened and services will begin to return to normal. -Daventry Road Closed until Friday 10 July. Unable to serve St Barnabas Close. Please use stops at Melvin Square or Broad Walk Square. -Glass Wharf bus stop on Avon Street at Temple Meads will not be served in both directions until further notice. Buses are diverting via Midland Road and Silverthorne Lane in both directions.

This service will divert in both directions from Harbour Road on to Wyndham Way, Portbury Hundred to continue via M5 to resume normal route at Clevedon interchange, Ettlingen Way. We will be unable to serve All Saints Lane until The Precinct (d/c) bus stops. please use stops at Castlewood, Aldi, Sainsbury's or Parish Wharf instead. Quays Road and Harbour Road in Portishead will have a temporary one way system from 1 June until further notice, into 2027. Buses to Bristol will operate as normal via the Marina. Buses to Portishead will divert after Sainsbury's stop via Wyndham Way to the High Street, missing out stops from Galingale Way to Parish Wharf inclusive. X5/X5x	Hutton - Weston-super-Mare - Portishead	Clevedon Road, Walton Road will be closed Overnight on 1 June to 3 June 20:00-06:00 each night. The last service (20.00) to Weston-super-Mare will divert from Harbour Road on to Wyndham Way, Portbury Hundred to continue via M5 to resume normal route at Clevedon interchange, Ettlingen Way. X14	Bristol - Portishead - Weston-super-Mare Night Bus	Normal service.	Update: This closure due to start on 1 June, is now postponed to 22 June. Quays Road and Harbour Road in Portishead will have a temporary one way system from 1 June until further notice, into 2027. The X14 will additionally serve the Serbert Way stop and the stop in Sainsbury's car park after The Vale, then divert via Wyndham Way to the High Street, missing out stops from Galingale Way to Parish Wharf inclusive. Please use the stops at Sainsbury's or The Precinct instead.
X21	Bridgwater - Weston-super-Mare & Puxton Park	Normal service.
X39/39	Bath - Bristol	Significant delays being experienced due to Road works in Saltford. Please allow extra time for journey where possible. We anticipate delays will occur daily 09:00 until 19:00 for duration of works.X39 Service is Running at up to 55mins to an hour late this is due to Road works and Temp Traffic lights by Pixash Lane both directions. Due to the roadworks and placement of the temporary traffic light we will NOT be serving Pixash Lane bus stop.
Y1/Y2	Bristol - Yate / Ladden Garden Village	The change to the Y2 to run via Coalpit Heath has been postponed until 21 June, and buses will carry on running via Winterbourne the same as the Y1. Please bear with us while we update online tracking and journey planning data to reflect this change.
Y6	Bristol - Southmead Hospital - Yate & Chipping Sodbury	-Long Term Closure - Beesmoor Road, Coalpit Heath closed until Sunday 21 June (estimated). Unable to serve all stops between the Live and Let Live and Heathcote Drive inclusive, and also miss out the Church Road stop towards Bristol. Buses will divert via the full length of Church Road instead, and serve all bus stops on diversion.
