High Street, Portishead will be closed on 29th May due to Emergency Road Closure. This will affect services X5,X5x,A2.

Services towards Portishead will divert from Clevedon Road onto Bristol Road, Wyndham Way, High Street to resume normal route on Harbour Road.

Services towards Western super Mare and Bristol Airport, normal route can be taken.

The following bus stops will not able to be served: Gordano School, Sheepfield Gardens until The Precinct (d,c) or Parish Wharf in both directions.

Please use the

Pulteney Bridge, Bath - Overnight Road Closure - U1 and U1N - starting 01.06.26

Pulteney Bridge, Bath will be closed Overnight between 19:00-06:00 from Monday 1st June to Saturday 13th June. This will affect services U1 and U1N.

Service U1 will divert into Bath via North Parade, turn around at Terrace Walk/Bog Island, and then pick up from the North Parade bus stop on its way back to the University.

Service U1N heading towards Bath University will follow normal route to Widcombe then turn left into North Parade, turn around on Terrace Walk/Bog Island, then go back along North Parade, picking up from the bus stop on North Parade, and turn left resuming normal route route at the roundabout.

Service U1N towards Central Bath will follow the reverse of the above.

The Following Stops will not be served:- Edward Street, Laura Place, Grand Parade, Bath Abbey.

Please use the stop on North Parade instead.

Manvers Street / Bridge Street, Bath - Road Closures - Various services - starting 26.05.26

Manvers Street and Bridge Street in Bath city centre will be closed from Tuesday 26th May for three weeks. After this, Bridge Street will re-open, but Manvers Street will remain closed until November 2026 for major works to rebuild the road above historic vaults. Services 2, 3, 4, 6/6a/7, 13, 20, D1/D1x, U1, U1N and U3 will be affected.

Due to the long term nature of this closure, we are treating it as a service change rather than ad-hoc diversions. Timetables, app tracking and online Journey Planning data will be updated to reflect the changes.

Customers who transfer between service 3 and 4 will not be charged for their second bus trip when using tap on tap off, as long as they start their second bus journey within an hour of starting their first trip.
