Gainsborough Square in Lockleaze will be closed 24/7 from Monday 14th September until Wednesday 7th October at 19:00. This will affect services 24, 72 and 77.

Service 24 towards Ashton Vale will operate normal route as far as Bonnington Walk, then divert by turning right into Landseer Avenue, zig-zagging across Constable Road to carry on into the next section of Landseer Avenue, then turn right into Brangwyn Grove and right onto Romney Avenue to resume normal route.

The following bus stops will not be able to be served in this direction: Stothard Road, Gainsborough Square, Cameron Walk, Mulready Close and Haydon Gardens.

Please use the stops at Melton Crescent or Orpen Gardens instead, or, additionally, there is a temporary stop situated at the end of Landseer Avenue before the Constable Road junction.

Service 24 towards Southmead Hospital will run normal route as far as the Orpen Gardens stop on Romney Avenue, then turn left into Bragwyn Grove, continue to the end of Bragwyn Grove and resume normal route from Gainsborough Square.

The following bus stops will not be able to be served in this direction: Haydon Gardens, Mulready Close and Cameron Walk. 

Please use the stops at Orpen Gardens or Gainsborough Square instead.

Service 72 towards UWE will operate normal route onto Constable Road, then divert via Landseer Avenue, turn right onto Brangwyn Grove and then left onto Romney Avenue, resuming normal route further up Romney Avenue

The following bus stops will not able to be served in this direction: Landseer Avenue and Gainsborough Square.

Please use the stops at Turville Drive or Hogarth Walk instead.

Service 72 towards Temple Meads will operate normal route as far as Romney Avenue, then instead of turning right onto Cameron Walk, will continue down Romney Avenue, turn right into Brangwyn Grove, and continue to the end of Brangwyn Grove to resume normal route at Gainsborough Square.

The following bus stop will not able to be served: Cameron Walk. 

Please use the stops at Hogarth Walk or Landseer Avenue instead.

Service 77 towards Lockleaze will run normal route to Gainsborough Square. Buses towards Stoke Bishop will, upon leaving Gainsborough Square, divert via Bonnington Walk and Wordsworth Avenue, resuming normal route from Lockleaze Road.

The following bus stop will not able to be served: Landseer Avenue.

Please use the stops at Gainsborough Square or Turville Drive instead.
