Frome Market is held on the first Sunday of each month between March and December. In 2026, the last market will be Sunday 6th December.

Roads in the town centre are closed between 06.00 and 18.00 for the market, and route D2 operates a diversion during these times.

Buses from Bath to Frome run normal route as far as the Football Ground stop on Berkley Road, then turn left into Rodden Road and operate via New Road, Wallbridge, Portway, Christchurch Street East, Gorehedge and Wesley Slope to Christchurch Street West, resuming normal service from the Memorial Theatre Complex stop.

Buses from Frome to Bath run normal route as far as the Memorial Theatre Complex stop on Christchurch Street West, then divert via Christchurch Street East, Portway, Wallbridge, New Road, Rodden Road and turn right into Berkley Road, resuming normal service from the Football Ground stops.

The bus stops at Market Place, North Hill House and Windsor Crescent (along the blacked out section of the map below) are not served during the market.

Please use the bus stops at the Memorial Theatre Complex, the Football Ground, or any bus stop along the diversion route instead.

Pulteney Bridge,Bath - Road Closure - U1 and U1N - starting 01.06.26

Pulteney Bridge,Bath will be closed between 19:00-06:00 from Monday 1st June to Saturday 13th June. This will affect services U1 and U1N.

Service U1 will commence/terminate at Bog Island (Ca) bus stop during this closure.

Service U1N heading towards Bath University will follow normal route to Widcombe then turn left into North Parade and serve “Bog Island”. It will then come back along North Parade and turn left resuming normal route route at the roundabout.

Service U1N towards Central Bath will follow the reverse of the above.

The Following Stops will not be served:- Edward Street, Laura Place,Grand Parade,Bath Abbey.

Please use stops at Bog Island or North Parade.

Manvers Street / Bridge Street, Bath - Road Closures - Various services - starting 26.05.26

Manvers Street and Bridge Street in Bath city centre will be closed from Tuesday 26th May for three weeks. After this, Bridge Street will re-open, but Manvers Street will remain closed until November 2026 for major works to rebuild the road above historic vaults. Services 2, 3, 4, 6/6a/7, 13, 20, D1/D1x, U1, U1N and U3 will be affected.

Due to the long term nature of this closure, we are treating it as a service change rather than ad-hoc diversions. Timetables, app tracking and online Journey Planning data will be updated to reflect the changes.

Service diverted via Somerset Avenue in both directions. Unable to serve St Georges turn in both directions and Food warehouse temp stop towards Bristol. Please use stops at Worle Interchange in addition services will be observing Temp stop at Lidl's in both directions.	Update: This closure due to start on 1 June, is now postponed to 22 June. Quays Road and Harbour Road in Portishead will have a temporary one way system from 1 June until further notice, into 2027. The X14 will additionally serve the Serbert Way stop and the stop in Sainsbury's car park after The Vale, then divert via Wyndham Way to the High Street, missing out stops from Galingale Way to Parish Wharf inclusive. Please use the stops at Sainsbury's or The Precinct instead.
X21	Bridgwater - Weston-super-Mare & Puxton Park	Normal service.
X39/39	Bath - Bristol	-Update 14:15 all services are now running through Saltford. Please allow extra time for journey where possible. We anticipate delays will occur daily 09:00 until 19:00 for duration of works. X39 Service is Running at up to 55mins to an hour late this is due to Road works and Temp Traffic lights by Pixash Lane both directions. Due to the roadworks and placement of the temporary traffic light we will NOT be serving Pixash Lane bus stop.
Y1/Y2	Bristol - Yate / Ladden Garden Village	The Haymarket Bristol will be closed into Bristol 8 June until 11 June betweeen 21:00-06:00 fro road works. Services will not be able to serve Rupert Street during these times. Passengers should board or alight at Cabot Circus or City Centre.Services leaving Bristol are unaffected -Badminton Road will be closed between 2000-0600 from Sunday 7 June to Sunday 14 June. Services will be diverted along Bristol Road and Yate Road. We are unable to serve stops between and including Yate Park and Ride(b&c) and Western Avenue. -The change to the Y2 to run via Coalpit Heath has been postponed until 21 June, and buses will carry on running via Winterbourne the same as the Y1. Please bear with us while we update online tracking and journey planning data to reflect this change.
Y6	Bristol - Southmead Hospital - Yate & Chipping Sodbury	Badminton Road will be closed between 2000-0600 from Sunday 7 June to Sunday 14 June. Services will be diverted along Bristol Road and Yate Road. We are unable to serve stops between and including Yate Park and Ride(b&c) and Western Avenue. -Long Term Closure - Beesmoor Road, Coalpit Heath closed until Sunday 21 June (estimated). Unable to serve all stops between the Live and Let Live and Heathcote Drive inclusive, and also miss out the Church Road stop towards Bristol. Buses will divert via the full length of Church Road instead, and serve all bus stops on diversion.
