Church Street in Paulton will be closed to services 171, 172 and 522 between 07:00 and 19:00 from Wednesday 30th July to Friday 1st August (three days) to facilitate carriageway works.

Due to the additional closure of the Paper Lane roundabout in Paulton services will be unable to serve any part of Paulton and we apologies for any inconvenience this will no doubt cause.

Service 171 heading towards Wells from the Thicket Mead roundabout (by Tesco), will be diverted via the A363 to Farrington Gurney and turn left onto the A37 to resume normal route in both directions.

Regretfully the bus stops between and including Phillis Hill Bottom (the other side of Thicket Mead roundabout) and Main Street on the A37 will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Thicket Mead Roundabout bus stop (prior to the roundabout) or the Rush Hill bus stop in both directions.

Services 172 and 522 heading towards Bristol from the Thicket Mead roundabout (by Tesco), will be diverted via the A363 to Farrington Gurney and the A37 where the 172 resumes normal route at the junction of the Wells Road and the service 522 turns right to resume normal route at the mini roundabout at the junction of Paulton Road in both directions.

Regretfully the bus stops between and including Phillis Hill Bottom (the other side of Thicket Mead roundabout) and the Book Barn bus stop on the Wells Road for the service 172 will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Thicket Mead Roundabout bus stop (prior to the roundabout) or the Temple Bridge Farm bus stops on the A37 in both directions. The bus stops between and including Phillis Hill Bottom (the other side of Thicket Mead roundabout) and Claremont Gardens on Paulton Road for the service 522 will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Thicket Mead Roundabout bus stop (prior to the roundabout) or the Highbury Road bus stop on the Wells Road in both directions.
