Hambrook overnight stop closures

From Tuesday 27th May 2025, the inbound Hambrook bus stop towards Bristol City Centre will be closed after 8pm until 06:00 each night, for approximately eight weeks. This is due to improvement works affecting access to the stop.

There is no safe location for a temporary stop, so buses on service m3 will not be able to stop between the Willy Wicket and UWE The Gardens stops.

For customers wishing to travel from Hambrook to the City Centre, the nearest alternative will be to catch services Y1 or Y2 from the 'The Stream' bus stop on the B4058 Bristol Road.

Customers coming from Emersons Green on the m3 and wishing to alight at Hambrook will need to alight at Willy Wicket instead, or travel to Begbrook stop and walk back up Frenchay Park Road towards Frenchay.

During the daytime before 8pm, the stop will be open, however there may be closures of the pavement on one side of the stop meaning access will be possible only from the other side.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

The outbound stop towards Emersons Green is not affected, and buses on the m3 will be able to stop there to drop off and pick up as normal all evening.
