Broad Quay, Bristol City Centre will be closed on Thursday 23rd July, from 09:30 until 13:00 (estimated). This will affect various services in both directions.

Services 6, 7 & 42 coming into the City Centre will, instead of turning onto Broad Quay, continue straight onto Anchor Road, looping back around on the roundabout to return to The Centre, parking outside The Hippodrome. Buses leaving the City Centre will start from The Hippodrome, then resume normal route from Nelson Street.

Service 6, 7 & 42 The following bus stops will not be served: Broad Quay (C3/C5).

Please use the stop outside The Hippodrome (C8) instead to board your bus to East Bristol.

Services 16,24,43,44,45,70,74,75,76,522,A1,m1,m2 and X39 heading southbound leaving Bristol City Centre will run normal route as far as Rupert Street and then diver via Christmas Street, Nelson Street and Fairfax Street towards Bristol Bridge onto Baldwin Street to resume normal route at Prince Street. All services will serve Queens Square stop Q1 this is the closest stop to Broad Quay.

All Services The following bus stops will not be served: Broad Quay (C3).

Please use the stop on Queen Square (Q1).

Services 16,43,44,45,70,74,75,76,522,A1,m1 and X39 heading northbound through the City Centre towards Broadmead or the Bus Station will run normal route to Queens Square, and then divert via Baldwin Street, Wine Street and Union Street to resume normal route.

All Services The following bus stops will not be served: Broad Quay (C4), Christmas Steps (C12) and/or Nelson Street (B5).

Please use the stop at Queens Square(Q2) 

Services 46,47x,48,48x,49,49x,50 will run normal route into the City Centre. When leaving the City Centre, they will start from the normal bus stop on The Centre (C9), then divert down Anchor Road, turn around on the roundabout, back to The Centre, then turn right onto Baldwin Street and resume normal route.

Delays are expected due to the length of this diversion.

Services m3 and m4  Services into the City Centre will terminate at Rupert Street (stop B2). Services leaving the City Centre will start from Lewins Mead (stop B1).

Stops at The Centre (C1/C2) will not be served.

Services T1,Y1,Y2 Services will terminate and commence from Electricity House diverting via Anchor Road to loop back to resume normal route on Lewins Mead

Services T1,Y1,Y2 The following bus stops will not be served: The Centre (C2).
