As a result of the overnight closure of the Ashton Road slip way heading onto the A370 in Ashton, the Winterstoke Road bus stop on Ashton Road which is normally served by services X1, X4, X7, X9 and U2 will be closed overnight between 21:00 and 06:00 from Monday 8th through to Thursday 11th June (four nights) to facilitate carriageway works.

Regretfully no temporary bus stop will be positioned during this closure and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Merchants Road bus stop which is the one before or the following bus stop from Winterstoke Road depending on your service.

West Street, Banwell - Road Closure - U2 - 07.05.26

West Street, Banwell will be closed to U2 services between 20.00 on Thursday 7th May until 05.00 on Friday 8th May. .

Service U2 heading towards Bristol:

Will operate normal route to the end of Haywood village (The Runway) and will then follow the A370 to Congresbury and at Congresbury Station Road, it will turn right and pass the Mushroom Farm then turn left into Langford Vets School, where the service will resume normal route to Bristol.

Service U2 heading towards Weston super Mare:

Will operate normal route to Langford Vet School, where on leaving it will turn right and go past the Mushroom Farm. At Station Road, Congresbury it will turn left and follow the A370 to Haywood Village where it will resume its normal route.#

Buses will not be able to serve any bus stops between Churchill Inn in Langford and the Helicopter Museum inclusive.

**Services will NOT be stopping whilst on diversion**

Stone Edge Batch Road, Tickenham - Road Closure - A2, X6 - 05.05.2026

Stone Edge Batch Road in Tickenham will be closed overnight for Carriageway works between 20:00 & 06:00 on 5th May

A2 will follow normal route from Portishead to Clevedon, then divert via Kenn & Yatton to Congresbury, then A370 to Brockley to Bristol Airport.

All stops between Old Street and Chelvy Batch will be missed in both directions.

X6 from Long Ashton will divert A370 to Congresbury, then through Yatton and Kenn to Clevedon in Both Directions.

All stops between Winterstoke Road and Old Street Clevedon will not be served

Glastonbury Beltane Festival, Various road closures - 373, 374, 375, 376, 376x - 01,05.2026

Various roads in Glastonbury will be closed to services, 373, 374, 375, 376 & 376a 01.05.2026 one day for the Beltane Festival.

Services will be diverted via the A39 and Avalon Trading Estate to resume normal routes at B&Q on the Wells Road.

All bus stops between and including Drill Hall on Street Road and Avalon Estate bus stops on Wells Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Wirral Park Roundabout bus stop or Morrisons.

Constitution Hill, Dulcote - Road Closure - 174 - starting 27.04.2016

Constitution Hill Dulcote will be closed Daily between 27.04.2026 & 29.04.2026 3 days for Utility works.

Service 174 will not turn into Durston Road but will stay on Bishops Parkway to Strawberry Way roundabout.

Fountain Cottages, Highfield, The Bishop’s Palace, The Liberty, Market Place & Chamberlain Street stops will be missed.

Passengers are advised to board or alight at Well Bus Station.

Update:- This closure has been postponed to a future date. A new date will be announced in due course.

~~West Street will be closed in both directions to services 44, 75, 76, A1, m1 and SB7 on Friday 1st May and Tuesday 5th May 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for works.~~

Services 44, 75, 76, m1, A1 and SB7 heading towards Hengrove/Airport from Dalby Avenue will divert left under the Railway Bridge onto Malago Road and right onto Bedminster Road to resume normal routes at Parson Street gyratory.

Services 44, 75, A1 and SB7 heading towards The Centre will - from Bedminster Down Road - divert via Bedminster Road, Malago Road, under the Railway Bridge onto Sheene Road and to resume normal route from East Street (44/75/SB7) or Dalby Avenue (A1).

Service 76 and m1 from Hartcliffe Way heading towards The Centre will divert right into Bedminster Road and then as the above. Therefore, these services will not be able to serve the Parson Street Station in the bus gate.

~~Bus stops West St./Victor Rd/United Reform Church/Chessel Street and Parson St. Station will NOT be served. All stops on the diversion routes will be served.~~

DATE EXTENSION - Daventry Road, Knowle - CLOSURE - (16 & 36) - Thursday 19th February to Sunday 31st May

UPDATE 16:46 Thursday 26th February.

The full lengthof Daventry Road in Knowle is currently closed to services 16 and 36 and will remain fully closed until 18:00 on Sunday 31st May to facilitate carriageway works.

All services will be diverted from Melvin Square via Ilminster Avenue and Salcombe Road to resume normal route at Broad Walk Square in both directions.

Regretfully the St Barnabas Close bus stops for services 16 and 36 will not be served in either direction and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Melvin Square or Broad Walk Square. The bus stop on Broad Walk Square roundabout will be observed towards Melvin Square.

Y6	Bristol - Southmead Hospital - Yate & Chipping Sodbury	Long Term Closure - Beesmoor Road, Coalpit Heath closed until Sunday 21 June (estimated). Buses will miss out all stops between the Live and Let Live and Heathcote Drive inclusive, and also miss out the Church Road stop towards Bristol. Buses will divert via the full length of Church Road instead, and serve all bus stops on diversion.

Parrys Lane, Westbury - Daily Road Closure - 3 - starting 30.04.2026

Parrys Lane (part), Westbury will be closed from 09:30 until 15:30 on the 1st May and 6th May. This will affect service 3.

Service 3 in both directions will divert, continuing on Westbury Road, Falcondale Road via Stoke Lane to resume the normal route on Parrys Lane. The following bus stops will not be able to be served: White Tree Roundabout (towards Cribbs Causeway only), Willis Hall, Rylestone Grove and Stoke Lane.
