Allison Road, Brislington - Road Closure - 1, 36 - 02.06.2026

Allison Road Brislington has been closed for road works on 2nd June 09:30-19:30 affecting services 1 & 36.

Service 1 to Cribbs Causeway will turn left from Broomhill road and continue along School Road to Bath Road, at the 1 way system will then turn into Wick Road and continue service from Sandy Park Road. services to Broomhill will turn right at the top of Sandy Park Road, continue along Wick Road to Bath Road, at Brislington Hill will turn left into School Road as far as the junction of Broomhill Road to continue service. 

Stops at Wick Crescent and Sherwell Road cannot be served, use Winchester Road or Broomhill Road stops.

Service 36  will not use School Road but will follow the service 1 Diversion Via Wick Road. 

Wick Crescent, Sherwell Road The Rock , Jean Road & Church Parade stops cannot be served, use  Brislington Square or Allison Road stops.

Pulteney Bridge,Bath will be closed between 19:00-06:00 from Monday 1st June to Saturday 13th June. This will affect services D1,U1 and U1N.

Service D1 heading towards Warminster will follow normal route to Pulteney Gardens, where it will turn into North Parade. It will then serve stops on "Bog Island" and return back down North Parade to continue along Pulteney Road(south) and re-join normal route.

Service D1 heading to Bath will go past Great Pulteney Street and along to North Parade where it will serve "Bog Island" and return back down North Parade and re-join normal route.

The following bus stops will not be served:- Holbourne Museum, Laura Place, Guldhall,Grand Parade and Manvers Street.

Please use the stops at Bog Island or North Parade.

Service U1/U1N heading towards Bath University will follow normal route to Widcombe then turn left into North Parade and serve “Bog Island”. It will then come back along North Parade and turn left resuming normal route route at the roundabout.

Service U1/U1N towards Central Bath will follow the reverse of the above.

The Following Stops will not be served:- Edward Street, Laura Place,Grand Parade,Bath Abbey.

Please use stops at Bog Island or North Parade.

Manvers Street and Bridge Street in Bath city centre will be closed from Tuesday 26th May for three weeks. After this, Bridge Street will re-open, but Manvers Street will remain closed until November 2026 for major works to rebuild the road above historic vaults. Services 2, 3, 4, 6/6a/7, 13, 20, D1/D1x, U1, U1N and U3 will be affected.

Due to the long term nature of this closure, we are treating it as a service change rather than ad-hoc diversions. Timetables, app tracking and online Journey Planning data will be updated to reflect the changes.
