The A371 between Shepton Mallet and Dinder will be closed overnight to service 174 between 19:00 and 05:00 from Monday 23rd February through to Friday 6th March (ten nights exc weekend) to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 174 heading towards Wells only after serving The Cenotaph in Shepton Mallet will be diverted via the A37, Roemead Road and B3139 Bath Road to resume normal route at The Liberty in Wells.

This will only apply to the 18:20, 19:20 and 20:20 journeys from Bath Bath Bus Station.

Regretfully the bus stops between and including Stargate Avenue in Shepton Mallet and the Bishops Palace bus stop on Tor Street in Wells will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Old Market Road bus stop (to Bath) in Shepton Mallet or The Liberty bus stop in Wells

URGENT - Somerset Levels between Burrowbridge and East Lyng - EMERGENCY CLOSURE - (374) - Friday 20th February REOPENED 23 February

UPDATE - 12:00 Friday 20th February.

We have just been made aware that the flood gates have been closed again on the Somerset Levels between Burrowbridge and East Lyng and service 374 will with regret be unable to serve between Street and Taunton until further notice.

Therefore we will be unable serve any bus stops between and including the Pedwell Hill Bottom in Pedwell and Taunton Bus Station in either direction.

Service 374 from Pedwell will be diverted to Bridgwater Bus Station where you can board the service 21 from Bay 4 to Taunton.

Service 374 back from Bridgwater Bus Station to Wells will run at 10:00, 11:56, 14:03, 15:51 and 17:57 and will depart from Bay 6.

We sincerely apologies for the inconvenience this will no doubt cause.
