First Essex Service Changes - from Monday 1st August 2022
From Monday 1st August 2022, we will be expanding our bus network across Essex as a result of being awarded several new routes under contract to Essex County Council.
We will be running the following routes, listed below by area:
North Essex:
Route 4 between Stanway Sainsburys and Hythe Tesco – Monday to Friday off-peak
Route 11 between Highwoods, St Johns and Colchester Station – Monday to Friday peak periods
Route 16A between Barnhall and St Helena School – Monday to Friday school hours
Routes 80, 80A between Colchester and Boxted/Dedham – Monday to Saturday
Routes 81, 81A between Colchester and Dedham/Manningtree – Monday to Saturday
Routes 82, 82A, 82B between Colchester and Colne Engaine – Monday to Saturday
Routes 83, 83A, 83B between Colchester and Bures – Monday to Saturday
Mid Essex:
Route 3 between Chelmsford and Southend – Monday to Saturday
Route 40 between Witham Town Centre and Ebenezer Close (some journeys will now extend to Gershwin Boulevard) – Monday, Wednesday and Saturday
Route 345 between Fuller Street and Braintree (and now extending to Braintree Shopping Village) – Wednesdays
South Essex:
Route 1A between Basildon and Pitsea Tesco - Saturdays
Route 14 between The Wick and Wickford Station – Monday to Friday peak periods
Route 21 between Basildon and North Benfleet - Monday to Friday peak periods and Saturdays (the Monday to Friday off-peak timetable will continue to be provided by NIBS buses)
Route 21C between Hadleigh Morrisons and Canvey Seafront – Monday to Friday
Route 63 between Rayleigh and Landwick – Wednesday and Friday
Route 104, 106 between Langdon Hills Tesco and Laindon Station / Basildon – Monday to Friday
Route 256 between Ramsden Heath and Basildon – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Route 552 between Ramsden Heath and Billericay Station – Monday to Friday peak periods
We will no longer be running route 10 between Shotgate and Basildon Hospital and route 94/94A/94B between Basildon and South Woodham Ferrers which will instead be provided by NIBS buses.
