Lawrence Hill Bridge over the railway in Lawrence Hill (at the railway station) will now be closed to services 6, 7, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45 from 20:00 on Friday 13th February, and will remain fully closed until 06:30 on Monday 16th February, to facilitate works on the bridge. The diversions will also affect services 5 and 16.

Services 6 and 7 will be diverted via Barton Hill and will be unable to serve the Lawrence Hill Station or Croydon Street bus stops in either direction. Passengers are advised to board or alight at the Russell Town Avenue bus stops, or the Easton Road bus stops (the other side of Lawrence Hill roundabout). The 6 and 7 will also serve the bus stops on Church Road along the diversion route.

Services 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45 will be diverted via Barton Hill and will be unable to serve the Edward Street, Herber Street (towards Centre), Gilbert Road (towards St George), Lawrence Hill Station or Croydon Street bus stops. Passengers are advised to board or alight at the Blackswarth Road bus stops by Aldi, or the Easton Road bus stops the other side of Lawrence Hill roundabout. Passengers heading towards the City Centre will also be able to board or alight at the Terrell Gardens bus stop on Pile Marsh (normally served by the service 5).

Services 5 and 16 will also be diverted towards the City Centre:

Service 5 heading towards Stoke Bishop will be diverted from New Brislington Bridge via the Feeder Road and Marsh Lane,  resuming normal route on Avonvale Road at the Beam Street stop, and will miss out the Netham Road, Terrell Gardens and Orchard Square bus stops. Passengers are advised to board or alight at either Arlington Road or Beam Street bus stops, or for journeys towards the City Centre, catch a diverted 6/7/16/41/42/43/44 or 45 from the Terrell Gardens stop on Pile Marsh. Buses towards St. Anne's will operate the normal route.

Service 16 heading towards Whitchurch will from Avonvale Road be diverted via Pile Marsh, Fireclay Road and the Feeder Road to resume normal route further along the Feeder Road. It will be unable to serve the Orchard Square or Granville Street bus stops and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Terrell Gardens bus stop on Pile Marsh (normally served by the service 5).or Feeder Road Footbridge bus stops. Buses towards Fishponds will operate the normal route.
