UPDATE - 09:45 Friday 16th January.

Lawrence Hill bridge in Lawrence Hill will now be closed to services 5, 6, 7, 16, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45 from 19:00 on Friday 6th and will remain fully closed until 06:00 on Monday 9th February to facilitate carriageway works.

Services 6 and 7 will be diverted via Barton Hill and will be unable to serve the Lawrence Hill Station and Croydon Street bus stops in either direction and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Russell Town Avenue bus stops or Easton Road bus stops (other side of Lawrence Hill roundabout) for both directions or any of the bus stops on Church Road.

Services 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45 will be diverted via Barton Hill and will be unable to serve the Edward Street, Herber Street (towards Centre), Gilbert Road (towards St George), Lawrence Hill Station and Croydon Street bus stops and passengers are advised to board or alight at Easton Road bus stops (other side of Lawrence Hill roundabout) or Blackswarth Road bus stops by Aldi.

Passengers heading towards the Centre only can also board or alight at the Terrell Gardens bus stop on Pile Marsh (normally served by the service 5).

Service 5 heading towards the Centre only will be diverted via Feeder Road and Marsh Lane to resume normal route on Avonvale Road and will not serve Netham Road, Terrell Gardens and Orchard Square bus stops and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Arlington Road or Beam Street bus stops.

Service 16 heading towards the Centre only from Avonvale Road will also be diverted to resume normal route on Feeder Road and will be unable to serve the Orchard Square and Granville Street bus stops and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Terrell Gardens bus stop on Pile Marsh (normally served by the service 5).or Feeder Road Footbridge bus stops.
