The A4, Bath Road in Saltford between The Globe and Keynsham roundabout just prior to the by-pass will be closed overnight to services 39, X39 and A4 between 20:00 and 05:00 from Monday 26th to Thursday 29th January (four nights) to facilitate carriageway works.

The last X39 service that will operate normal route through Saltford in the evenings will be the 19:25 journey from Bath and the 19:10 journey from Bristol. All service 39 will operate the diversion route below until the 04:55 journey from Bath..

The last service A4 that will operate normal route through Saltford in the evenings will be the 18:30 journey from Bristol Airport and the 19:15 journey from Bath and the first buses in the morning will be the 04:45 journey from Bristol Airport and the 05:15 journey from Bath.

All other journeys will be on diversion listed below.

Services 39, X39 and A4 heading towards Bristol and Bristol Airport will operate normal route as far as the Globe roundabout but instead of exiting onto the Bath Road will turn left before onto the A39 Wells Road as far as the traffic lights by the Man with Two Heads then turn right and follow the road through to the bottom of The Wellsway and turn right onto Bath Road and service X39 will turn left onto the Keynsham by-pass to resume normal route and services 39 and A4 will turn around at the roundabout to resume normal route back up Bath Road.

Services 39, X39 and A4 heading towards Bath will operate the reverse of the above.

Regretfully all bus stops between and including Corston Lane (just after The Globe roundabout) and Ellsbridge House (by the roundabout by KFC) will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either The Globe or the Unity Road bus stops on Bath Road which will be served by all services.
