Two separate road traffic accidents on Waterside Roundabout

Traffic is queuing back to Saddlers Roundabout, with Canvey Island is come to a standstill  

The 21 and 22 services are diverting via Leigh Beck and Newlands currently, with some terminating early.

Please check with your driver that your service will operate to Canvery Island

Church Rd, West Hanningfield has been closed.

Service 13 and 13A will be diverting via Middlemead in both directions.

Towards Wivenhoe

After serving the Flag Pub, first exit onto Rectory Road at the mini roundabout, right into Belle Vue Road. At the end of the road service will turn right and wait time outside the Co-op before returning to Colchester

Witham Carnival

12th July 2025

13:00hrs to 16:00hrs

Bridge Street, Newland Street will be closed to 371 and 71 services for the Carnival

Towards Colchester

Will serve Lynfield Motors stop on Hatfield Road will then turn around at the roundabout by Aldi to go back down Hatfield Road turn left onto A12 Colchester Bound re-joining line of route at Kelvedon

Towards Chelmsford

From Kelvedon continue down the A12 Bypassing Witham re-joining line of route at Hatfield Peverel

Due to a burst watermain on Baddow Road/Tabors Hill

Service 36/31 is unable to serve Baddow Road.

Services are diverting via Baddow bypass in both directions

Anyone wishing to board should head over to the stops at, either; Army and Navy parkway or Manor farm shop stop

Service C6/C7 (Maldon Road services) while not directly impacted currently, congestion delays are anticipated for these routes as traffic diverts around the above closure

Service 13 13a 13b - Runwell Road closed for works between 08/07/25 to 17/07/25 towards Wickford only

From Wickford Station right the Broadway to the end, left London Road at the roundabout, right 2nd exit line of route.

Towards Chelmsford - no diversion.

Toward Chelmsford to terminate at The Market stop and restart on Duke Street, Cathedral, toward Basildon. 

Please be advised that delays are expected during the day. 

Chapel Street, just off Billericay High Street, is closed until the 17th July. 

300 service: 

To Basildon via Billericay High Street, Laindon Road, A176, back on to route. 

The following stops won't be served Chapel Street and Weir Wynd.

9 service: 

Diverting in both directions between Hillside and Billericay Station. 

We are unable to serve the stops at the bottom of the Hillside before Chapel Street and Billericay High Street.

Due to emergency roadworks for gas main repair in Thoby Lane school service 620 is unable to serve Thoby Lane and Wyatts Green Road.

Services to divert in both directions via Blackmoor to Hook End.

Any students between Hoo Kend and Thoby Lane will have to board from the stop in Mill Lane between Hay Green Lane and Beehive Chase. 

Works in place until the 15th July.
