B3 Crest Avenue pedestrian walkway improvements:
The bus stops for Crest Avenue are currently inset of temporary lights, which makes it unsafe to board and alight passengers as you will be doing so in a live traffic situation.
The bus stops have not been suspended, and no alternative bus stops have been provided. It has been reported to Essex Highways.
There are 3-way lights at the entrance to Wickford railway, which restrict bus access.
There is also rail replacement today to the Greater Anglian line, and there has been a shuttle bus positioned between the two bus stops in the railway with no driver present.
We will monitor the access and delays moving through this section and update our customers accordingly
