Due to an emergency road closure, Loanhead Road in Newarthill is closed between Glenmore Road and the A73 until further notice.
Towards Glasgow will divert via Glenmore Road, Carfin Road, Newarthill Road and Motherwell Road before rejoining the A73 and continuing the normal route.
Towards Newarthill will divert via Motherwell Road, Newarthill Road and Carfin Road before returning to the normal route.
X44 journeys at 6:00pm and 7:00pm (Monday to Saturday) from Buchanan Bus Station to Newarthill: These journeys will operate on diversion via Motherwell Road, Newarthill Road, Carfin Road and Glenmore Road before returning to the normal route.

From Friday 23rd October, Glasgow City Council will introduce new Night Bus Hubs at selected bus stops within the City Centre and from this date revised stopping arrangements will be introduced on Services N2 & N240.
Services N2 & N240 will now observe bus stop Union Street before Argyle Street (bus stop at O’Neill’s). All First Glasgow Night Services N2, N18, N240, N267 will now observe this stop.
There will be no change to stopping arrangements on Renfield Street at Drury Street; N2 & N240 will continue to observe this stop also.
No stop changes for Services N18 & N267.
Main day Service 2 & 240 stopping arrangements will not change.
To allow for Glasgow City Council Avenues works on Tuesday 4th August, St Vincent Place will be closed until works are completed.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
