Wishaw Parade Disruption - 11th July

Due to a major parade on Saturday 11th July in Wishaw, First Bus services will be subject to delays and curtailment. Please check the below details for your service.

From 11:00, Wishaw Main Street, Glasgow Road, Stewarton Street and Wishaw Road will be closed. This will mean that some services will need to operate a little differently until the parade ends (expected to be around 15:00). Please use the information below to plan your journey in advance.

Service	How the service will operate on Saturday 11th July in Wishaw
Service 240 to Overtown	Normal route to Wishaw General at Heathery Roundabout, service will divert via Netherton Street, Netherton Road and rejoin normal route at Castlehill Road/Gowkthrapple. Glasgow Road, Wishaw Main Street and Caledonian Road will not be served from 11:00 until conclusion of Parade (expected to be around 15:00).
Service 240 to Buchanan Bus Station	Normal route to Castlehill Road/Gowkthrapple, service will then divert via Netherton Road, Netherton Street to Heathery Roundabout then rejoin normal route towards Craigneuk. Caledonian Road, Wishaw Main Street and Caledonian Road will not be served from 11:00 until conclusion of Parade (expected to be around 15:00).
Service 242 to Pather	Normal route Wishawhill at Heathery Roundabout, service will divert via Netherton Street, Netherton Road and then Caledonian Road to Pather. Glasgow Road, Wishaw Main Street and Caledonian Road (between Wishaw Cross and Pather Community Centre) will not be served from 11:00 until conclusion of Parade (expected to be around 15:00).
Service 242 to Holytown	Normal route at Lomond Drive, then divert Caledonian Road to Netherton Road, Netherton Street to Heathery Roundabout and rejoin normal route into Wishawhill. Caledonian Road (between Alexander Street and Wishaw Cross), Wishaw Main Street and Glasgow Road will not be served from 11:00 until conclusion of Parade (expected to be around 15:00).
Service 243 to Lanark	Normal route to Wishaw General at Heathery Roundabout, service will divert via Netherton Street, Netherton Road, Castlehill Road, Overtown Main Street, Horsley Brae, Brownlee Road, continue Station Road, Wildman Road, A73 and normal route. Glasgow Road, Wishaw Main Street, Waterloo and Bogside will not be served from 11:00 until conclusion of Parade (expected to be around 15:00).
Service 243 to North Motherwell	Normal route A73 at Law Hospital, Wildman Road, Station Road, continue Brownlee Road, Horsley Brae, circle Garrion Bridge, Horsley Brae, Overtown Main Street, Castlehill Road, Netherton Road, Netherton Street to Heathery Roundabout and rejoin normal route towards Craigneuk. Bogside, Waterloo, Wishaw Main Street and Glasgow Road will not be served from 11:00 until conclusion of Parade (expected to be around 15:00).
Service 266 to Newmains/Shotts	Service 266 to Newmains and Shotts will be curtailed and terminate at Wishaw General Hospital from 11:00. Wishaw Main Street, Cambusnethan, Newmains, Bonkle, Allanton and Shotts will not be served by these buses due to closures. 266 Shuttle buses will operate to Cambusnethan, Newmains, Bonkle, Allanton and Shotts from 11:00 to approx. 15:00 - please board at Wishaw, Kirk Road. Service 266 to Hamilton Bus Station	Service 266 will resume service to Hamilton from Wishaw General Hospital. Service will be curtailed at Wishaw General Hospital and resume service back to Hamilton from here. 266 Shuttle buses will operate to Wishaw via Cambusnethan, Newmains, Bonkle, Allanton and Shotts from 11:00 to approx. 15:00 - these will terminate at Wishaw, Morrisons. Service 291 Lanarkshire Circle	Due to closures, from 11:00, Service 291 will divert from Cleland via Newarthill, Carfin, Ravenscraig, Craigneuk to Wishaw General Hospital then resume normal route towards Motherwell to continue circlular. 291/293 Shuttle buses will operate between Cleland, Coltness and Wishaw from 11:00 to approx. 15:00 - these will terminate at Wishaw, Morrisons. Service 293 Lanarkshire Circle	Due to closures, from 11:00, Service 293 will divert from Wishaw General via Craigneuk, Ravenscraig, Carfin, Newarthill to Cleland then resume normal route from Cleland towards Motherwell to continue circular. 291/293 Shuttle buses will operate between Cleland, Coltness and Wishaw from 11:00 to approx. 15:00 - these will terminate at Wishaw, Morrisons. Service X11 to Newmains	Normal route to Netherton Road at Castlehill Road/Gowkthrapple where service will terminate. Caledonian Road, Wishaw Cross, Kirk Road, Cambusnethan and Newmains will not be served from 11:00 until conclusion of Parade (expected to be around 15:00).
Service X11 to Buchanan Bus Station	Service will resume from Netherton Road towards Buchanan Bus Station. Caledonian Road, Wishaw Cross, Kirk Road, Cambusnethan and Newmains will not be served from 11:00 until conclusion of Parade (expected to be around 15:00).
