To allow for patching works, on Friday 6th February 20:00 until Saturday morning of the 7th of February 06:00, Waterloo Street and Newton Street on ramps for M8 Westbound will be closed.
During the closure the following diversion will be in operation.
Please advise passengers before going on diversion and where next stopis.
Service 500 towards Glasgow Airport:
St Vincent Street, Renfield Street, Union Street, Jamaica Street, Glasgow Bridge, Bridge Street, Nelson Street, Morrison Street, Paterson Street, Wallace Street, Dalintober Street, M8 Westbound on slip and the normal route.

Hamilton Road / MULTIPLE SERVICES / 30th of January 2026
Due to a diversion for M74 slip road closure, all traffic is being diverted up through Motherwell to go back onto Hamilton Road Southbound.
There are delays over 30 mins and increasing.
500 / Bothwell Street / 7th - 8th of February 2026
To allow for Crane works on Saturday the 7th of February 22:00 until Sunday the 8th of February 07:00 Bothwell Street will be closed.
During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.
Service 500 towards Buchanan Bus Station:
Normal route to Bothwell Street, Pitt Street, West George Street, and the normal route.
M8 J26 East Bound / Service 500 / DIVERSION / 12th of January - 7th of February 2026
To allow for motorway works, from Monday the 12th of January until Saturday morning the 7th of February, M8 J26 East Bound will be closed between 20:00 and 06:00 each night
During the closure the following diversion will be in operation.
Normal route to the M8, J26 & East Bound to the normal route.
500 / West George Street/Union Street / 6th - 7th of February 2026
Due to M8 roadworks, on Friday the 6th of February 20:00 until Saturday the 7th February 06:00, Waterloo Street will not be served.

The nearest alternative stops are located: West George Street/Union Street (temp stop).
Service 1, 1A, 1C, 1E, X4 | Argyle Street, York Street/Hope Street Closure
To allow for resurfacing works on Tuesday 6th January until Friday 27th February Argyle Street between York Street and Hope Street will be closed.
During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.
Service 1, 1A, 1C, 1E, X4 towards City: Normal route Argyle Street at James Watt Street, James Watt Street, Broomielaw, Clyde Street, Stockwell Street, Howard Street to terminus.
Towards City Centre, bus stops on Argyle Street at Central Station, Argyle Street at Frasers/Buchanan Street, Ingram Street and Stockwell Street opposite Argos will not be served during this time. Temporary bus stops will be in operation on Broomielaw.
Service 1, 1A, 1C, 1E, X4 towards Scotstoun: Normal route Howard Street at Jamaica Street, Jamaica Street, Broomielaw, Brown Street, Argyle Street, normal route.

Due to a road closure on Firhill Road, services are diverting as follows:

George Square North Closure
Due to Avenues work from Monday 12th January for approximately 3 months, George Square North will close.
During the closure, services will use Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge in both directions with bus stops installed on Bath Street towards Cathedral Street.
Service 6A towards City Centre
Diverting via Renfrew Street, Killermont Street, North Hanover Street and Cathedral Bridge.
The last stop for passengers is Killermont St at Buchanan Bus Station. No boarding or alighting at Cathedral Bridge.
Service 6A towards Drumchapel
From Cathedral Bridge diverting via Bath Street, serve bus stop 60904044 on Bath Street opposite Sainsbury’s, Renfield Street, St Vincent Street and Hope Street.
Services 19, 38 / 38A / 38B / 38C / 38E, 57 / 57A towards Cathedral Street
Diverting via West George Street, West Nile Street, Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge and Cathedral Street.
Service 41 towards Easterhouse
Diverting via West Nile Street, Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge, Cathedral Street, Castle Street, Cathedral Square, John Knox Street and Duke Street.

Diverting via West George Street, serve bus stop 609085 on West George Street, West Nile Street, Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge and North Hanover Street.

Bus stops at Queen Street Station and North Hanover Street will not be served. Please use the alternative stop on West George Street.
