Services 6 & 6A | Great Western Road Closure | 13/04/2026- 18/04/2026

To allow for works, on the 12th of April between 09:00 and 15:30, Bath Street will be closed between Hope Street and Wellington Street.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 3, 4 & 4A towards Charing X:    

 Normal route to Hope Street, St Vincent Street, West Campbell Street, Bath Street, and the normal route.

Service 18 & 18 towards Holland Street:                                                        

Normal route to St Vincent Street at Hope Street, West Campbell Street, Bath Street and the normal route.

Service 19 & 77 towards Douglas Street/Charing X:                            

Normal route to Bath Street at Renfield Street, St Vincent Street, West Campbell Street, Bath Street, and the normal route.

To allow for works, from the 13th of April until the 17th of April, Lamont Road will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 8 towards Robroyston:

Normal route to Broomfield Road, Wallacewell Road, and the normal route.

Service 8 towards Patrick:

Normal route to Wallacewell Road, Lamont Road, into Broomfield Road, and the normal route.

A Sunday service will be in operation on all services.

To allow for Carriageway resurfacing on Monday 13th April until Friday 17th April  B754 Shields Road South Bound will be closed.

 Normal route to Windmillhill Street, Shields Road, Craigneuk Street, Shieldmuir Street, Glasgow Road & Netherton Street.

To allow for M8 bridge works at Hillington Interchange, from Monday the 13th of April until the 19th of April between 20:00 and 06:00 each night, Hillington Road Southbound under the M8 will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 9A from Braehead:

Normal route to Kings Inch Road, Renfrew Road, Shieldhall Road, Meiklewood Road, Berryknowes Road, Paisley Road West, and the normal route.

Opposite direction is on the normal route.

To allow for Scottish Water works, on Thursday 9th April between 09:00 and 18:00, High Street will be closed between Braehead Street and Broadcroft Road.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 89 towards Kilsyth:

Normal route New Lairdsland Road at High Street, continue New Lairdsland Road, Glasgow Road, into Ledgate, into Eastside, normal route.

Service 89 towards Buchanan Bus Station:

Normal route to Eastside, back along Eastside, into Kilsyth Road, Glasgow Road, into New Lairdsland Road, normal route.

Service X85 towards Buchanan Bus Station:

Normal route Milton Road at Glasgow Road, into Glasgow Road, into New Lairdsland Road, normal route.

Service X87 towards Waterside:

Normal route Glasgow Road at New Lairdsland Road, continue Glasgow Road, into Ledgate,  into Eastside, normal route.

Service X87 towards Buchanan Bus Station:

Normal route Hillhead Road at Eastside,  into Eastside, into Kilsyth Road, Glasgow Road, into New Lairdsland Road, normal route.

To allow for signal upgrades, bus stops on East Kilbride Road at Cathkin Roundabout 6150729 and 6150730 will be closed from Monday, 30th March for up to 6 weeks.

To allow for Scottish Power works, from Monday 6th April until Friday 17th April, Victoria Place at Woodburn Avenue will be closed.

During the closure, all stops will be observed, and the following diversion will be in operation.

The services are diverting via Broomknoll Street at Victoria Place, Cairnhill Road, and the normal route.

Service 211 towards Thrashbush:

The services are diverting via Cairnhill Road at Woodburn Avenue, Cairnhill Road, Broomknoll Street, and the normal route.

To allow for Scottish Water works, from Wednesday 8th April until Sunday 12th April, South Biggar Road will be closed between Gartleahill and Carlisle Road.

During the closure, all stops will be observed, and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 201 towards Petersburn:

The service is diverting via Weavers Road at Gartlea Road, Gartlea Road, Graham Street, Clark Street, Carlisle Road, and the normal route.

Service 201 towards Hairmyres:

The service is diverting via Carlisle Road at South Biggar Road, Carlisle Road, Clark Street, Graham Street, Gartlea Road, Weavers Road, and the normal route.

To allow for M8 bridge works at Hillington Interchange, from Monday 6th April until Sunday morning 12th April, between 20:00 and 06:00 each night, Hillington Road Northbound under the M8 will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 9A that operates to Braehead:

The service is diverting via Paisley Road West at Berryknowes Road, Berryknowes Road, Meiklewood Road, Shieldhall roundabout into Shieldhall Road, Renfrew Road, Kings Inch Road, normal route.
