Service 57 Parkhouse Road South Nitshill

Due to an incident, Parkhouse Road is closed. Nitshill Road will be used in both direction.

Service 211 Thrashbush Road Airdrie

To allow for Scottish Water iron Works on Monday 25th May until Tuesday 26th May Thrashbush Road will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 211 from Thrashbush Quadrant: Normal route Dykehead Road at Thrashbush Road, continue to Dykehead Road, A73 Stirling Road, Black Street onto Aiken Street, normal route.

Service 500 | Waterloo Street Closure 

To allow for Cranage works on Tuesday 19th May 22:00 until Wednesday 20th May 05:30, Waterloo Street will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 500 towards Glasgow Airport: Normal route to St Vincent Street, into Newton Street onto M8 West, normal route.

To allow for grass cutting, from Monday 18th May 20:00 until Tuesday morning 19th May 06:00, M80 Southbound for M8 West and M8 Westbound J15 off slip for Stirling Road will be closed.

Service X3, X25, X25A, X85 & X87 towards Buchanan Bus Station:

The services are diverting via M80 South, exit J1, (Blochairn), M8 Eastbound, Cumbernauld Road, Castle Street, Baird Street, Kyle Street, North Hanover Street, Killermont Street into BBS.

To allow for resurfacing works, from Tuesday 19th May until Sunday morning 24th May, between 20:00 and 06:00 each night, M8 Eastbound between J26 & J24 will be closed.

During the closure following diversion will be in operation.

Service 500 towards Buchanan Bus Station:

Normal route to M8 Eastbound and diverting via J26 Hillington, Hillington Road, Renfrew Road, Shieldhall Road, Shieldhall roundabout, Shieldhall Road, Helen Street, J24 M8 Eastbound, normal route.

To allow for emergency Scottish Power works  Bothwell Street will be closed until Friday 22nd May.

During the closure, all stops will be observed, and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service X8 & 500 towards Buchanan Bus Station:                                      

The service is diverting via Bothwell Street, Pitt Street, and West George Street, the normal route. X8 will continue via Hope Street to the normal route.

To allow for Avenues' works from Monday, 11th May until August, George Square South/Cochrane Street will be closed.

During the closure, all stops will be observed, and the following diversion will be in operation.

Please advise passengers before going on diversion, and where the next stop is.

Service 21 towards City Centre:                                                                                          

The services are diverting via Ingram Street, Shuttle Street, George Street and take a layover at the first stop.

Service 21 towards East Kilbride:                                                                                   

The services are diverting via George Street, Montrose Street, Montrose Street, Ingram Street, Queen Street, St Vincent Place, normal route.

Service 41 towards West Regent Street:                                                           

The services are diverting via Montrose Street, Ingram Street, Queen Street, St Vincent Place, normal route.

Service X85 Milton Road Kirkintilloch

To allow for resurfacing works, from Sunday 17th May until Sunday 24th May, Milton Road will be closed at Glasgow Road.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service X85 towards Lennoxtown: Normal route Glasgow Road at Milton Road, Kilsyth Road, into Antermony Road, Campsie Road, normal route.

Temporary stop at Evans Halshaw Garage.

Service X85 towards Buchanan Bus Station: Normal route Campsie Road at Birdston Road, Antermony Road, Kilsyth Road, Eastside, normal route.

George Square North Closure

Due to Avenues work from Monday 12th January for approximately 3 months, George Square North will close.

During the closure, services will use Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge in both directions with bus stops installed on Bath Street towards Cathedral Street.

Service 6A towards City Centre

Diverting via Renfrew Street, Killermont Street, North Hanover Street and Cathedral Bridge.

The last stop for passengers is Killermont St at Buchanan Bus Station. No boarding or alighting at Cathedral Bridge.

Service 6A towards Drumchapel

From Cathedral Bridge diverting via Bath Street, serve bus stop 60904044 on Bath Street opposite Sainsbury’s, Renfield Street,  St Vincent Street and Hope Street.

Services 19, 38 / 38A / 38B / 38C / 38E, 57 / 57A towards Cathedral Street

Diverting via West George Street, West Nile Street, Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge and Cathedral Street.

Service 41 towards Easterhouse

Diverting via West Nile Street, Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge, Cathedral Street, Castle Street, Cathedral Square, John Knox Street and Duke Street.

Service 398 towards Buchanan Bus Station

Diverting via West George Street, serve bus stop 609085 on West George Street, West Nile Street, Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge and North Hanover Street.

Service 500 towards Buchanan Bus Station

Bus stops at Queen Street Station and North Hanover Street will not be served. Please use the alternative stop on West George Street.

Diverting via West George Street (please use alternative stop here for Queen Street Station), West Nile Street, Killermont Street to Buchanan Bus Station.

Service 500 towards Glasgow Airport

Bus stops on North Hanover Street and St Vincent Place will not be served. Please use the alternative stops on Bath Street and St Vincent Street. 

From stance 46 at Buchanan Bus Station, Killermont Street, North Hanover Street (bus stop will not be served, please use alternative stop on Bath Street opposite Sainsbury's), Cathedral Bridge, Bath Street (alternative bus stop), Renfield Street and St Vincent Street (bus stop will not be served, please use alternative stop on St Vincent Street opposite Lloyds Banking Group).

From Sunday 24th May until Tuesday 9th June, there will be a full closure of the M8 Junction 19 Waterloo On-slip. The bus stop on Waterloo Street (opp Morgan Stanley) before joining the M8 will not be in use. Please use the alternative stop on Waterloo Street before West Campbell Street during this time. 

During the works at George Square North, the following bus stops will not be served.
