Glasgow City Centre Disruption - Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May

Saturday 17th May, disruption to our City Centre services is anticipated due to a Parade and an expected gathering. Some services will be diverted while others will regrettably be curtailed. Updates will be provided when service alterations take place, as timings are subject to change.

Sunday 18th May, Race for Life will take place in the City Centre, services will be diverted or curtailed until race concludes. A list of alternative bus stops is available:

Race for Life from 04:00 - 16:30 or earlier.

Road works Slip Road to M8 East Bound closed

Services X3, X85 and X87 normal route to Castle Street, right St James Road, left Castle Street, left to stay on Castle Street, right Royston Road, left Robroyston Drive, 1st exit on roundabout to stay on Robroyston Drive, 4th exit onto Saughs Road, 2nd exit onto M80 on ramp and normal route.

On Monday 26th May, we will operate a Saturday timetable on the majority of our services. Please ensure you refer to the relevant Saturday timetable for your service.

Service 202 will operate a normal Monday to Friday timetable.

Night Bus services will not operate.

Due to cable works at Shawlands, Langside Avenue, we are experiencing service delays. 

Services operating along Langside Avenue/Minard Road are experiencing delays of over 30 mins.

Works expected to last for 2 weeks. 

Due to building works, bus stop 6090297 at Highburgh Road before Byres Road will be closed from Friday 2nd May until works are completed (approximately 24 weeks).

A temporary stop will be in place. 
 

To allow for road works from Monday 5th May until Sunday 18th May, Greenhills Road towards Gardenhall will be closed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 21 towards Gardenhall via normal route, Greenhills Road at Borthwick Drive, Borthwick Drive, Greenhills Road.
 

To allow for works on Monday 21st April until Sunday 29th June the M8 Junction 27-28 westbound will be closed towards Glasgow Airport (only) between 20:00 and 06:00 each night.

During the closure services will divert via Renfrew Road, Weir Street, Old Sneddon Street, Love Street, Inchinnan Road, Sanderling Road,Glasgow Airport access road normal route.

Service 226 diversion

Brankholm Brae Hillhouse is inaccessible for Service 226 and this service will operate a diversion until further notice. Passengers who usually board on Brankholm Brae should use an alternative stop on Townhill Road.

Phoenix Road will fully close.

Services 60,60A & 61 towards Parkhead Will divert St Georges Place, left St Georges Road right Garscube Road normal route.

Services 60,60A & 61 towards Maryhill Will divert Garscube Road, left St Georges Road, right St Georges Place, right Maryhill Road normal route.

Service M3 towards City Centre Will divert Garscube Road.

Service M3 towards Milton Will divert Garscube Road.
