Due to an on slip closure, services to divert as follows:
Towards BBS: Normal route Aitkenhead Road, Langmuir Road, Coatbridge Road to Bargeddie Roundabout, normal route.

Services 5/34/46/75 | Castlemilk Drive
Castlemilk Drive at Ardencraig Junction.
To allow for stud and lining works, on Thursday 14th May between 09:00 and 17:00, Castlemilk Drive will be closed between Dougrie Road and the first junction of Ardencraig Road.
During the closure the following diversion will be in operation.
Service 5 towards Castlemilk:
Normal route towards Ardencraig Road at Mitchellhill.
Service 5 towards Osborne Street:
Depart Ardencraig Road towards Castlemilk Drive, left into Castlemilk Drive, right into Ardencraig Road, right into Birgidale Road, right into Dougrie Road, left into Castlemilk Drive, normal route.
Service 34 towards Castlemilk:
Normal route Castlemilk Drive at Dougrie Road, right into Dougrie Road, left into Birgidale Road, right into Ardencraig Road normal route.
Service 34 towards Govan:
Depart Ardencraig Road, left into Birgidale Road, right into Dougrie Road, left into Castlemilk Drive normal route.

Diverted route via right Ingram Street, continue Ingram Street, left Shuttle Street, left George Street and terminate at 1st bus stop, next trip take next left Albion Street right Ingram Street, right Queen Street, left St Vincent Place normal route.
Service 41 towards West Regent Street
Normal route George Street at Albion Street left Albion Street, right Ingram Street, right Queen Street, left St Vincent Place normal route.
Services 21 & 41 - George Square South/Cochrane Street
To allow for Avenues' works from Monday, 11th May until August, George Square South/Cochrane Street will be closed.
During the closure, all stops will be observed, and the following diversion will be in operation.
Please advise passengers before going on diversion, and where the next stop is.

The services are diverting via Ingram Street, Shuttle Street, George Street and take a layover at the first stop.
Service 21 towards East Kilbride:
The services are diverting via George Street, Montrose Street, Montrose Street, Ingram Street, Queen Street, St Vincent Place, normal route.
Service 41 towards West Regent Street:
The services are diverting via Montrose Street, Ingram Street, Queen Street, St Vincent Place, normal route.
Services 88, 88A, 88C, 89 & 89B | Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs Closure
Services 88, 88A, 88C, 89 & 89B | Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs Closure
Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs will be closed from Sunday 10th May to Sunday 17th May 2026 due to essential roadworks by East Dunbartonshire Council.
Sunday 10 to Tuesday 12 May
Services 88, 88A, 88C, 89 and 89B will run only between Buchanan Bus Station and Bishopbriggs (Westerhill Road) in both directions.
Buses will run to their normal timetables on these shortened routes.
To keep communities connected during the closure, two temporary shuttle services will operate:
- 88S: Harestanes – Hillhead – Kirkintilloch – Gallowhill – Strathkelvin Retail Park – Torrance
- 89S: Kilsyth – Kirkintilloch – M80 – Buchanan Bus Station
Wednesday 13 May to Sunday 17 May
Services 88, 88A, 88C, 89 and 89B will operate normally until 6pm. After 6pm, the same temporary arrangements and shuttle services listed above will apply.
These changes are in place to reduce disruption and support you in travelling whilst the road is closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

To allow for The Race For Life event, on Sunday 17th May between 04:00 and 16:00, there will be multiple closures in the City Centre.
During the closures all stops will be observed for intending and alighting passengers and the following diversion will be in operation.
Services 1, 1A, 1C & X4 towards City Centre: Normal route Argyle Street at West Campbell Street, Bothwell Street, Wellington Street, into Holm Street (before the pub), and terminate in the bus stand.

Normal Route Westland Drive at traffic lights take the filter into Danes Drive, continue straight on mini-Roundabout at next main lights turn into Queen Victoria Drive continue into Lincoln Ave Normal Route.
Service X4 Towards City
Normal Route to Lincoln Ave Continue onto Queen Victoria Drive, at traffic lights turn into Danes Drive continue straight on mini-Roundabout to Traffic Lights turn into Westland Drive Normal Route.
