Service 500
To allow for grass cutting, from Wednesday 13th May 20:00 until Thursday morning 14th May 06:00, M8 Westbound J28 off slip and M8 Eastbound J28 on slip will be closed. Due to M8 Eastbound also being closed between J27 & J26, the following diversion will be in operation.
Service 500 towards Glasgow Airport: Normal route M8 Westbound at junction 28, St James Interchange, 5th exit at roundabout into slip road for M8 Eastbound and exit slip road for Glasgow Airport, normal route.
Service 500 towards Buchanan Bus Station: Normal route Caledonia Way East, roundabout into White Cart Road, Sanderling Road, Inchinnan Road, Love Street, Carlisle Street, Niddry Street, Renfrew Road, Incle Street, into Glasgow Road, Paisley Road West, Helen Street, into slip road for M8 Eastbound J24, normal route.

Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs will be closed from Sunday 10th May to Sunday 17th May 2026 due to essential roadworks by East Dunbartonshire Council.
Sunday 10 to Tuesday 12 May
Services 88, 88A, 88C, 89 and 89B will run only between Buchanan Bus Station and Bishopbriggs (Westerhill Road) in both directions.
Buses will run to their normal timetables on these shortened routes.
To keep communities connected during the closure, two temporary shuttle services will operate:
- 88S: Harestanes – Hillhead – Kirkintilloch – Gallowhill – Strathkelvin Retail Park – Torrance
- 89S: Kilsyth – Kirkintilloch – M80 – Buchanan Bus Station
Wednesday 13 May to Sunday 17 May
Services 88, 88A, 88C, 89 and 89B will operate normally until 6pm. After 6pm, the same temporary arrangements and shuttle services listed above will apply.
These changes are in place to reduce disruption and support you in travelling whilst the road is closed.

Due Scottish Water works on Thursday 7th May until Sunday 10th March Sinclair Drive will be closed.
During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 4, 4A towards Clarkston
Normal route Grange Road at Battlefield Road left Battlefield Road, right Holmlea Road normal route.
Service 4, 4A towards Victoria Road
Normal route Holmlea Road at Orchy Street continue Holmlea Road, left Battlefield Road, right Grange Road normal route.
Grange Road/Battlefield Rest bus stops will be observed by service in both directions during this time.

M8 Westbound J26 Off Slip Positional Trips Towards Penilee From Buchanan Bus Station
To allow for structural repairs, from Friday 8th May 21:00 until Monday morning 11th May 06:00, M8 Westbound J26 Off Slip will be closed.
During the closure the following diversion will be in operation.
Service 9 Towards Penilee from BBS: Normal route M8 Westbound and exit J24 (Govan), into Helen Street, Paisley Road West and follow service route towards Penilee.

To allow for manhole repairs, on Sunday 10th May, West Bridgend towards Cardross Road only will be closed.

Service 1C | Duntreath Avenue Closure Towards Drumchapel.

To allow for resurfacing works on Tuesday 12th May 08:00 until Friday 15th May Duntreath Avenue will be closed towards Drumchapel only.
During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 1C towards Drumchapel: Normal route to Polnoon Avenue, Alderman Road, Lincoln Avenue, Great Western Road, at Duntreath Flyover take slip road then left Duntreath Road normal route.

To allow for resurfacing works on Tuesday 12th May 08:00 until Wednesday 13th May, Archerhill Road will be closed.
During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 11 towards Anniesland: Normal route to Archerhill Road at Lincoln Avenue, Great Western Road then normal route.
Service 11 towards Clydebank: Normal route to Great Western Road at Archerhill Road, Lincoln Avenue, Archerhill Road then normal route.
Service X4 towards Knightswood: Normal route to Lincoln Avenue at Archerhill Road, Great Western Road, Baldwin Avenue then normal route.
Service X4 towards City: Normal route to Great Western Road, Lincoln Avenue then normal route.
77 / M8 / DIVERSION / 30th of April - 9th of May 2026
To allow for patching works, from Thursday the 30th of April until Saturday morning on the 9th of May, between 20:00 and 06:00 each night, M8 J27 Westbound on slip will be closed.
During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Normal route to Renfrew Road, Weir Street, Old Sneddon Street, Carlisle Street, Love Street, Inchinnan Road, Sanderling Road and the normal route

To allow for resurfacing works on Tuesday 6th January until 30th April, Argyle Street between York Street and Hope Street will be closed.
During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.
Services 1 1A 1C 1E & X4 towards City: Normal route Argyle Street, James Watt Street, Broomielaw, Clyde Street, Stockwell Street, Howard Street to terminus. X4: from Stockwell Street, Stockwell Place to terminus.
Services 1 1A 1C 1E & X4 towards Scotstoun: Normal route Howard Street, Jamaica Street, Broomielaw, Brown Street, Argyle Street, normal route.

George Square North Closure
Due to Avenues work from Monday 12th January for approximately 3 months, George Square North will close.
During the closure, services will use Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge in both directions with bus stops installed on Bath Street towards Cathedral Street.
Service 6A towards City Centre
Diverting via Renfrew Street, Killermont Street, North Hanover Street and Cathedral Bridge.
The last stop for passengers is Killermont St at Buchanan Bus Station. No boarding or alighting at Cathedral Bridge.
Service 6A towards Drumchapel
From Cathedral Bridge diverting via Bath Street, serve bus stop 60904044 on Bath Street opposite Sainsbury’s, Renfield Street, St Vincent Street and Hope Street.
